Did the same thing in the anime, too. Well, the gemstone, at least, you see it glow and melt off of the ring itself and fall into the water.

I don't think so cause in the second season the ring was stolen back and other side they were fighting got it back. It's still a open question where the ring went in the second series. And the third series has no mention of the ring??? Hmm forgot the scene Tristain-Germania soldiers in South Gotha but she still had the ring of illusion though right so it never returned to the water Goddess???

If the ring never went back to the water goddess does that mean that there could be a 4th season that centres around the recovery and return of the ring?

Well, he said he'd bring the ring back. Never said anything about the ring's condition.

You mean light novel? I'm pretty sure the manga hasn't even caught up with the anime yet...

Either way, if they are going to base a show/book/game/movie off of something they should at least keep the character profiles the same. I like my novel Louise and Siesta better than their anime counterparts.

It has a poor plot because it has a poor plot. Whether I know something or not does not change what happens in a story, after all.

Exactly. Novel readers may be aware of more things missed but even when you stop comparing you still clearly see horrible plot.

Ok, finished all the 3 season on ZnT.

Season 1: Good
Season 2: Very Good
Season 3: Average...

Season 3 was... a bit to failed in my opinion. It's just like they recycled things from season 1 and 2. Anyways, the only thing that changed a bit was like Louise "maturing" a bit, and refalling into her old state at the end just to remature again when she sees Tabitha kissing Saito...

For some reason, I'd like a season 4, because as you see, no villains at all are dead, and there are still quite a lot of things to explain... ( J.C staff, plz catch up... Season 2 was quite good on the emotional side, especially the last episode. Plz stop screwing those nice moment s with the "baka inu" times... Once is enough. )

But so many people don't want a fourth season, and I understand why...

in season 4 there should be:

-Revealing Julio's true identity
-MAKE SURE THAT THE LAST MOMENT OF LOVE BETWEEN LOUISE AND SAITO IS NOT DISTURBED...
-Explain how Tiffania resurected Saito, and what about her familiar... She's a void use after all
-KILL JOSEPH... No new bad guy or girls plez... The super love triangle is enough now...

Terminator98, just go to BT and read the novels (those that are translated). You won't be bored and it will definitely be much better experience than JC Staff's screw-ups called ZnT anime seasons.

ZnT 4 has no been confirmed or even mentioned yet. I guess that either it shall never be, or we'll have to wait a bit.

It is unfinished I agree. But the blunder they did is near un fixable. I wonder how'd they do to fix all these plot holes and etc... (absent explanations, unexplained things)

I'm sad though also... Shame, I really hope that at least in 2010 they'd make a small anouncement (plus, the ending of season 3 hints a lot about a followal)

Yeah the end of S3 screamed for a S4! I hope they might have just moved it to the Winter Season, or indeed delayed it for a year because of SnS3
