That's why I think BB would be a great game for me. Main point is pvp and you only do pve if you are weak, or need a particular thing.

Forgive me but me and everyone that played those games with have same opinion.
Pve is weak. Its quite simple Learn to do thing A when boss do thing A, use skill B when situation B happens. And so on. Pve is simple scripted bot fights.

Did anyone else smell trap from the very beginning of this episode? As soon as the Yellow King showed up i hardly blinked and just thought to myself wow they walked right into it. I knew something felt fishy about these turn of events. The fact that no one else in BB world was concerned about this Ultimate Armour reappearing made suspicious. It feels like the Yellow King has been planning this trap for a while now. Cant wait to see exactly why he set the trap. If he defeats the Red King he gets more territory. Also, since the trap took place in this certain area i believe the no aggression treaty is void.

Hmmm it did feel strange, however there could be many scenarios at first. It could be anything from red legion trap to yellow legion schemes.
What is most stupid is that those people seem to have a pact so all legions should get together and defeat the threat. But that was explained that red legion probably didn't even tell to the outside about the armor reappearance.
As far as it goes Niko was just to dumb to not think about possible trap, and warn Nebula about possible shadow enemy. Which is strange considering that she is smart or at least try to look like smart one.
If I was in Nebula shoes right now I would be really pissed at her for hiding all facts.
You go out of your way to destroy some random armor which isn't even doing a thing to you (It destroys other legions which are your enemies, so it actually helps you chip away on their power), and then you get jumped by a PK party. First thing I would really look at my supposed to be partner and think really really hard if I shouldn't PK her first.

When I think about it, Black Lotus must be extremely powerful. After she chopped off the head of the former Red King, she was able to fend off the other 5 kings with her remaining time.

Since we did not see Chiyuri in her Brain Burst avatar form in the intro, I expect that we will probably not get to see her in action until the next cour. I wonder what her avatar will look like? So far, we have Black, Silver, and Cyan in the group. If we count Niko, then that is Scarlet. If Aqua Current joins, then that is a greenish-blue color. What color would make Chiyu most helpful to the team?

Niko currently has no ambitions to reach level 10, and she admires Black Lotus. It makes for a good combination for her to join up later on, either as an ally or even switching legions.

BTW, I still expect 2 level 9 players will be able to handle large groups quite easily. The problem will be Yellow Radio.

Right now the Black Legion needs long ranged fighters...don't forget that Niko might be using their help and allied with them now but that will change once she gets what she wants (take out Cherry Rook) so that leaves their Legion with three close to mid range fighters, if Chiyu were to join in, then the most helpful would be a pure red for long range.

actually the OP is pretty spoilerific OP. If you watch it and analyze it then you can understand lots of things.

whats Pve? is it the kill the mobs or mvp in mmorpg? I'm not familiar with terms because I just play the game. But for me PvP is much better than just challenging dungeons. A hard dungeon could be fulfilling after you finish it but its all sets in program and you'l just need to find weakness or plan it out. Pvp is mostly different though its all in the sets of equipment and skills and full on level up and potion pots. But still its much thrilling and even guild wars is a lot better. All and all, I prefer fighting against other players than AI.

Tanks are hax in games. Tanks that can shrug your attack like its nothing is a pain to beat. Specially that here in AW each color represents a certain attribute or sets of rules that should be already a explain bit by bit as the anime goes. Like how the red are good at range attacks.

basic colors:
Red = range attacks. True to itself its pure damage dealers. Look at red king who has heavy artillery.
Blue = short range attacks. Can be a tank because blue has high defense and resistance. Blue king is the blue knight. A heavy knight with a sword.
Yellow = wait till next episode. Yellow king looks like a wacko and a clown. Circus? throwing knives?
secondary colors
Green = combination of blue and yellow. Expect for it to be a tanker with short range ability but it also has yellow on it.
Purple = red and blue. Damage dealer that is long and short range? not sure but its surely a damage dealer. Look at purple king in the OP and the next episode. It has a scepter.
Orange.... is there an orange here? their is no orange king right?
black and white. Black king looks like pure offensive with a body of blades and pretty agile while the white has a cape....? I'm not sure. But in color wheel. White encompass everything. Has all attributes? or versatile? or plain unknown invisible?

Metal and elements are hard for me to categorize because they had their own rule.

Actually Purple (Aurora Oval) is a little bit different from you describe, I want to give you a hint but you have to find that out.

hey! I catch up with this series.... too bad it isn't got any sub-forums yet

from the preview, I can guess two possible explanation :

1. All of kings are allying to defeat Black Lotus. Scarlet Rain got sacrificed because of her ignorance about the past (she is new king, right?) or maybe she is showing her desire to be level 10?

2. All kings are gathering together to discuss. No one think they should annoy Naga Nebulus except Yellow King.... so Yellow King go to the scene by himself while being watched by others

Yellow King seems have a high intelligence status??? maybe some magic trick??

ah! I'm totally agree with Haruyuki though... A game without ending indeed will meet its end soon (we're experiencing it, right?)
although for Accel World, it will need long time because a VR-battle game will be awesome and still standing as the best game around

I know that . Besides IMO Purples (i wish I can use their real legion name) is more mysterious than the whites. The only thing we know that Purple was 1st gen Red King lover and that she wants KYH on a pike.

Just started to catch this series on few weeks ago. It somehow reminds me a little bit of Megaman Battle Network. Also probably some MMORPGs.

About the latest episode (10), as some other users said on previous pages, the Yellow King does looks a bit like a villain Digimon on the original series .

Also, some of the BGM / SFXs are pretty good and suits on this series. They actually does sounds like the musics on some games (especially RPG).

I'm quite enjoy watching Accel World so far, it would be one of the Anime I most enjoy to watch on this year, if the producers able to keep the quality until its last episode.

Hey! I have only read up to vol 02 which is the current story The other info's are only small summary or info about the kings which can be found on the novel thread. Aside from that are pure assumptions specially the characteristics for black and white which is totally unknown or maybe irregular.
