Barrier Break – attempts to break target barrier, the spell is very fast to cast but doesn’t guarantee success; power AA, range AA, speed S (using Resonance system power reaches AAA, in Full Drive mode the spell affects a wide area instead of single target, uses 1 cartridge)
Resonance Cut – (available in Full Drive mode) a powerful sword attack able to cut through opponents’ defenses easily due to the usage of Resonance system; power AAA, range D, speed AAA, uses 1 cartridge
Slash Flurry – (available in Full Drive mode) an extremely fast series of sword attacks usable both as offensive and defensive move; power AA, range D, speed S+, uses 1 cartridge
Grand Imperial Cleaver – (available in Full Drive mode) a long range sword attack when Gram’s energy blade extends to reach its target, uses Resonance system to break through any obstacles; power S+, range B, speed C, uses 3 cartridges

BTW, isnt the Resonance System something similar to the AMF? I dont know if you were part of such discussion in the Magic and Technology thread a few months ago, but we were discussing how the AMF appears to be some kind of noisy sound waves with irregular frequencies and wavelengths that mess up the formation or link between magic particles in spells.
If that's the case, my Gaia has some kind of 'completed' Resonance system. I based his magic breaking special ability on that discussion. Also a reason why his ability looked like Nanoha's Barrel Shot, and when the it hit Natalia, she felt some pressure. In other words, something like sound waves.
Of course, you're using the Resonance System quite a bit differently here, not just for breaking magic spells (in your Full Drive mode).
Anyway, back to your character, I think he's damn deadly. Basically if anything he shoots hits someone, they are screwed. A very nice assassin!

In a road, Maren, Koji and Yui are currently heading to the Riot Force 6 Headquarters.
"I'm surprised...I didn't know Maren-san could drive..." Koji commented, sitting on the passenger's seat.
"But...Isn't Maren-chan a minor? We should be about the same age..." Yui added, sitting on the backseat.
"...Being an Enforcer has it's perks..." She said looking at the road.
"I see..." Koji tittered at her seriousness.
"By the way, why are we going to visit Hayate-chan's Division?" Yui leaned forward.
"Ah...it was about what happened in the day before you transfered to the HQ. Maren and I...well." He scratched his cheek, blushing a little.
"Hmmm" Yui glared at him.
"Ahahaha---" He looked out the window, "The weather's nice isn't it?"
"Onii-chan~ cough it up!" She poked his arm.
"Yui...backseat..." Maren reminded her.
"Oh, sorry..." She sat back.
"Minawa-kun and I were on a date when we got involved in an incident related to the Lost Logia called 'Relic'." She explained it rather calmly.
"What? Onii-chan~~ That's not fair! Going out with another girl when you have me!" She said teasingly.
"EH? D-don't say things like that! It might get interpreted the wrong way!" He looked back at Yui.
Maren sighed...these last few days have been like this one.
The warmth between them remained the same even when they argued, and she knew they were just playing around,
But...their relationship sure is wierd, for siblings...

As they crossed the bridge, they saw the building straight ahead.
Opening a holo-screen, Maren communicates her arrival.
"This is Enforcer Maren of Central HQ, we are now arriving at the parking lot."
"This is Control Officier Assistant, Griffith Lowran, feel free to park anywhere. I'll communicate your arrival to Commander Yagami."
"Understood" She confirmed.
After parking, they left the car and headed for the entrance.
"I know I'm just tagging along, but could you tell me why you're paying a visit to the RF6?"
"Hmm, yeah...we're not here to deliever the Relic since we're not allowed to do that..." Koji gave it some thought.
"We are here to receive thanks from the Commander and also exchange information in case another incident like that happens." Maren explained.
"I see...well, it'll be fun, seeing everyone again." She held onto Koji's arm.
"Y-Yui..." He complained, but then Yui slid her fingers between his.
"Teehee~" She giggled teasingly. "Payback for not telling me that you went on a date with Maren-chan." and winked.

At the entrance, Griffith was waiting for them, and took them to Hayate's office.
They rang the bell. "Yes, please come in." Hayate's voice was heard on the other side.
"Excuse us." They came in and saluted Hayate.
"Enforcer Maren, reporting."
"Private Second Class, Minawa Koji, reporting."
"Private Third Class, Minawa Yui, reporting."
"Ah, welcome." Hayate smiled.
She gets up from her desk and approaches them, "I am the commanding officer of Riot Force 6, Commander Yagami Hayate, pleased to meet you, Enforcer Maren."
"Likewise." She remained in saluting position.
"Don't worry about being formal. And..." She looks at Koji and Yui, "It's been a while, Koji-kun, Yui-chan."
"It sure has, Hayate-senpai." He bowed slightly.
"Hayate-neechan, where's Rein?" Yui looked around looking for her.
"She's with Shari in the lab, analyzing data from the Forwards...
"Oh..." She said a little disappointed.
Hayate walked to the couch, "Shall we go straight to business?" as she sat, she signaled them to sit aswell.
They all sat down and discussed about that day's event, sharing information from the battles.

"Well, we just happened to be there...it was mere coincidence." He tittered.
"We were on a date..."
"M-Maren-san??" He said surprised.

"B-but...." He slowly turned is head towards Hayate.
"...Date?" Hayate tilted her head. Silence followed...then looked at Koji, "As expected from Koji-kun! Good Job!" She showed her thumbs up.
"H-Hayate-senpai?" Surprised, he blushed embarrassed.
Hayate then held Maren's hands, "Maren-chan."
"Eh?" Koji didn't even notice Hayate getting next to Maren.
"Koji-kun is a healthy young man, I'm sure he'll be able to fulfill your expectations. I know that from personal experience." She winked at Maren.
Maren simply blinked.
"Hayate-senpai, why are you acting like my mother??" He said surprised, "And what do you mean by 'personal experience'??" He got redder by the second.
Hayate giggles, "Gomen ya, Koji-kun, it's beacause I haven't picked on you in such a long while."
"Ah...Don't worry about that, Hayate-senpai, Yui has been doing your share of pranks too..." He waved his hand assuring her.
Yui hugged him, "Yep, seeing Onii-chan's reaction is fun!" Koji sighed.
"I'm sure she has." Hayate giggled again.
"You know, there's still plenty of room here in the Riot Force 6, and your help would be welcome." She looked at them all.
"I appreciate the offer, but I'll politely decline it..." Maren said, bowing slightly.
"Too bad...how about you two?" She looked at the siblings.
"Eh?" They said in unison.
"W-well, it's quite tempting, but I'm currently working with Maren-san."
"Yeah, me too, I'm helping Onii-chan and Maren-chan too."
"Hmmm, I see, then maybe a tour would change your mind?"
"That would be nice. Right, Yui?" Koji turned to her.
"Yes." Yui nodded.
"Maren-san?" The siblings looked at her.
"I don't mind..."
"The it's settled, let's get going then." She got up and headed to the door.
"Eh? Hayate-senpai, you're going to give us the tour? Aren't you busy?"
"Not right now, since I knew you were coming, I left some space in my schedule to spend some time with you." She smiled.

While the Kagatsuchi and the Fumi Maru, the two ships that sustained the most damage during the battle were being repaired back at AX’s Kagami base, the Silvana in the meantime had made the lake beside MD6 Base her home in the meantime, moored at the far end of the lake on a temporary dock erected by the base personnel- as to allow the holopad to function.
Kyla was having a good time though, training all the Aces, Forwards, even the Otome and Valkyries in it- so it was a really busy place, with mock explosions, flashes of light and so on- making it feel like a mock battle- all the while with Reverie watching- being the GDI envoy has its perks- not being asked by Admiral Kyla Scrya to join in is one of them- beside her is Queen General Mashiro, looking on at her Otome.
It was The Aces and the Four Meisters against the rest. So far, not one from either side had fallen, despite wide area of effect attacks- Subaru and Ashton in their current state of fusion were up to par with the two of the Four Meisters- Arika and Nina, with a bit of help from Tea and Ruri, who were also fighting Chacha and E*****. Erio, Caro and the Valkyries were attacking the Aces, who were currently trying to remember how to dodge the extremely fast forms of the alternate maidens. Then, the siren rang.
“Okay… that’s enough for today…” Kyla called out from the pad’s station. “Get some rest and in fifteen minutes I’ll tell you of my evaluation for this session… and tomorrow would be a special session, so please be prepared.”
The weary teams finally let out their collective sigh of relief- none more so than Subaru.
“Phew… that finally ends it… But I still can’t believe that the Admiral is doing this kind of training with you guys- it’s only been three days but I’m beat each time- how do you guys do it?”
“Well… We get used to it.” Ashton’s astral image appeared beside her. “Come on… let me move your body so that you can rest a bit.”
“Okay… but easy with the walking- you’ll still tire me if you move enough.”
Subaru obliged, as they moved back to the base.
After an hour, Kyla had already given a good evaluation and decided to cancel the upcoming session and gave the people involved three days of leave to rest up- she had just gotten word that the ship repair was almost complete and she and the command bloc would have to go back to Kagami to inspect the ships- Especially Mashiro, since it was her ships.
Outside of the base, on the parking lot, a black car had parked and someone had stepped out- it was none other than the previous Keeper of Ballista and Rurika’s Archery Master Rai Nimura, also once known as Raine Dais, the (ex-) Salient Archer- a former enemy of the Aces and AX, now turned neutral and Earth resident. In the meantime, Rurika had invited Tea out on the town to check out some sales and had just passed out the doors, and hence saw her sensei.
“Master!!!” Ruri called out to him.
“Well, well, well… if it isn’t my disciple…” Rai spoke as she approached the two.
“Master?” Tea asked.
“He’s the one who gave me Ballista and thought me how to use it…”
“Well, seem to be doing fine.” Rai then commented. “And who’s your friend?”
“Master Rai, meet Teana Lanstar… Tea, meet my Master Rai…”
“Nice to meet you…” Rai then bowed. “My name is Rai Nimura, Former Dei Templar of the Bow and Arrow… and Respected Teacher of Rurika Serenade…”
“Teana Lanstar, Forward Star, Mobile Division 6…” Tea introduced herself as well.
“Well… what brings you here master?” Ruri then asked.
“Well, I have to relay a message to the Admiral… I was told that she was here.”

“One and the same… I’m the one who recommended this kid here…” Rai replied, patting Ruri’s head.

Nice spell list there. Powerful but within reasonable limits. Are all those posion attacks lethal though, seems like if they take damage at all they're going to die a horrible and slow death, regardless of if they win....
A mage who uses the principle behind the "Oscillations of Desonance" energy weapon is BRILLIANT!
And it all makes perfect sense, for such attacks work even better on harder and thus more brittle armor, unless it's been composited to have a higher damping.
And by virtue of that, since Kha wears hardened Plate armor while the girls are decked in Leather and Cloth, for the second time in a row, we have an anti-Kha magician. What a coincidence.
Thanks Well, you seem to be right, though this time it's more direct: if Mirian just happened to have an anti-divine spell, Ramsus is generally designed to screw mages specializing in protection

Assassin indeed That's exactly how Ramsus was planned: detects targets from afar, unleashes surprise attacks, penetrates defenses and even if the hit isn't hard enough to kill the victim outright there're additional effects to ensure victory.

All bleeding and poison attacks are lethal unless taken care of in time. People should learn to take healers in the parties Magical circuit damage isn't lethal by itself but will seriously cripple a mage until it's fixed.

And so, Hayate herself gave them a tour of the RF6 Headquarters.
First, they checked the outside, meeting Master Sargeant Vice and Stormraider, then Alto and Lucino in the control center.
At the infirmary where Shamal works...
"Ara? Hayate-chan, is something wrong?" Shamal asked when she saw her come in.
"No, I'm just giving a tour to some visitors." She moved out of the way.
"Ah! Yui-chan...and Ko-chan too!" She got up from her desk and ran to them.
"Shamal-sensei~" Yui smiled as she saw her with her arms ready to hug someone.
Then, Shamal passed by Yui. "Are ?" She blinked.
"Ko-chan~ You've gotten so big~" She commented as she snuggled onto him.
"Sh-Shamal-san...can't...breathe." Koji spoke, smothered by Shamal's 'attributes'.
"It's been such a long time." She continued attached to him.
"Shamal-sensei ignored me...." Yui said as she looked at them. "I want a hug too~"
Maren looked at them and turned to Hayate.
"Commander Yagami...is it always like this?"
"Hayate is fine...and yes, every reunion with them is pretty much like this." She spoke normally.
"I see..." Maren looked at them again.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I just got a little excited by seeing you again." Shamal apologized.
*pant* (I thought I was done for...) *pant* He recoverd his breath, but was also blushing.
"Yui-chan~" She then hugged her.
"And who is that lovely young lady?" She looked at Maren.
"Ah, this is Enforcer Maren, who came with Koji-kun and Yui-chan." Hayate explained.
"Nice to meet you." Maren bowed slightly.
"Nice to meet you too..." She sized her up.
"Hmm, I think I have some dresses that'll fit you perfectly~" She smiled at her.
"Shamal-sensei, you have some clothes here?" Yui immedeately got interested.
"But of course! Everykind of clothes, you name it, I got it here." She clasped her hands together happily.
"I'm fine with the uniform I have on, thank you..." Maren politely declines.
"Too bad...so, who's girlfriend are you? Koji-kun's? or maybe Yui-chan's~" She said playfully.
Koji thuds, quickly getting back up, "Shamal-san, Yui doesn't swing that way..."
"I'm not so sure about that, nee, Yui-chan?" She smiled at Yui.
"Nee~" She replied playfully.
(Y-Yui...don't play along in such things...) He said disturbed.
"Okay, you two." Hayate clappled her hands to break them up, "There's still plenty to see, you can catch up during lunch."
"Hai..." The two said pretenting to be disappointed.

Leaving, Koji straightened his uniform and sighed.
"Shamal-san is always like that..."
"But it was fun~" Yui smiled cheerfully.
"Well, next we can go check on Rein and Shari...oh?"
As Hayate mentioned them, Rein came flying from another hallway.
"Rein-chan!" Yui saw her and went right to her.
"Yui-chan!" She flew at her too.
Yui stopped and opened her hand for Rein to land on it. "How are you, Rein-chan?"
"I'm fine ~desu" She said happily.
"Yo, Rein." Koji greeted her.
"Ah..." Rein blushed and turned away, "Koji-sama~" She said embarrassed.
Koji blushed at those words, "D-don't call me that..." He replied also embarrassed.
Rein then noticed Maren, "Hayate-chan, who's that?"
"This is Enforcer Maren, she came along with Koji-kun and Yui-chan." She introduced her.
"I'm called Maren, nice to meet you." Maren bowed slightly.
"Yes, likewise. I am Reinforce Zwei, but please call me Rein." Rein bowed to her.
"SO this is a Unison Device...It's the first time I've seen one." She took a closer look at Rein.
As Maren got closer to Rein, she also got closer to Koji, and he stepped back when he saw the cute expression of curiosity on her face.
"Uh..." He looked away.
Rein immediately noticed it and turned to Maren.
Resting her hands on her hips, she asked, "Maren-san, what kind of relationship you have with Koji-sama?"
*giku* Went Koji, flinching as he heard that.
"Relationship?" Maren turned to Koji. "We're..."
"Lovers!" Hayate jumped in.
"GAH!" Rein said shocked.
"H-Hayate-senpai!" Koji complained.
"Sorry, Koji-kun, I couldn't help it." She excused herself, with her back turned to them and showing a smirk.
(She's at it again...) He sweatdropped.
"Koji-sama...how could you?" She fell on her knees dramatically, crying.
"R-Rein, don't take it so seriously...Hayate-senpai was just joking. He tried to cheer her up. "Maren-san and I work together in the Central HQ, along with Yui."
"Yui-chan...is it true ~desu?" Rein looked up at Yui.
Yui nodded, "Yep, we all work together, and it's fun."
"Really ~desu?" She turned to Koji.
"Yeah...t's true." He assured her.
"But they did go on a date that day..." Yui added.
"GAH!" Rein said shocked again, entering depressed mode.
"Y-Yui!" He reminded her.
"Gomen~ But you did go on a date..." She apologized.
But then, Rein got up and turned to Maren with a serious face, "This isn't over yet! Just because you went on a date with Koji-sama doesn't mean you're going to have him!"
"Eh?" Koji said surprised, "R-Rein?"
"Maren-san!" She pointed at her, Maren blinked at her. "I now recognize you as my rival ~desu!"
"Wha???" He stepped back, even more surprised.
"This is gold~~" Said Hayate, filming them with a camera.
"Hayate-senpai?" He turned to her, "Why are you filming this? and where did you get that camera from?" He added.

Moving on, they continued the tour, now with Rein accompanying them, sitting on Koji's shoulder.
"By the way, Rein, where's Shari?" Hayate asked.
"After analyzing the data, Shari went to the Training Grounds to help Nanoha-san, everyone should be there."
"Good, you'll be able to meet everyone."
"Oh, that's Zafira-san isn't it?" Koji saw Zafira at the end of the hall.
"Wai~ Zafira~" Yui quickened her pace to meet him.
"Ah..." She then saw Vivio, hiding behind Zafira. "There's a small girl here..."
Koji and the others walked to them, "Who's that?"
"The new addition to our family." Hayate said playfully.
"I see...Hi! I'm Yui!" She greeted her ecstatically
But that only made Vivio flinch.
"Ah...Onii-chan, she's scared." She turned to him, worried.
Maren approached her, and kneeled, "Hi." She said gently.
"H-Hi..." Vivio replied hesitating a little.
"Nice to meet you, I am Maren."
"I'm Vivio." She held onto her stuffed bunny.
"Vivio...That's a cute name. Where are you going?"
"Where Mama is..." She replied.
"I see...Then, come with us, we'll take you to your Mama." She extended her hand to Vivio and she grabbed it.
As they walked to the Training Grounds, everyone looked at Maren, astonished.
"Maren-san...that was amazing." Koji commented.
"Rein is surprised too ~desu" Rein added.
Holding hands with Vivio, Maren explained, "I used to take care of children...a long time ago..."
"Maren-chan sugoi! I bet you'll be a great mother when you grow up." Yui said with enthusiasm.
Maren blushed a little, and Vivio grabbed on tighter to Maren, "Onee-san is scary..."
"Ah..." Yui froze, shocked. "I'm...scary?"
"Yui, don't take it so seriously." He tried to cheer her up.
"Onii-chan, tell me! Am I scary? Am I?" She held onto him, shaking him.
"Hahaha---" He tittered, "I'd say more like...intimidating."

I'm fine with him having friends who understand him. I was just giving a generalization...It's boring if there's no interaction, right? Just so long as there's not very many, of course.
And while Austin's persona isn't exactly like that... it's almost alright. His speaking style is less "cliche-drill-instructor" though and is a little more subdued and mellow in style. He's also more serious-to-point, but considering this is a one-on-one training, he has a stronger sense of twisted humor when it comes to personal training..so I made some changes overall to his dialogues.

...And for the 152nd time that day, Kha found himself flying into pillar of the shaded pavillion by the sandy quadrangle.
His breathing was ragged; he spat blood from his cut lip as the young Cleric pushed himself back onto his feet. His eyes were ablaze with frustration.
"...That... was... low..." He squeezed his sore arm, as if it could force the numbing throb that was bouncing through his mind out.
"Low, you say?" Austin broke his stance.
"...And dishonorable..." Alexei heaved, going through the motions to clear his mind as he was trained by his father.
Austin just laughed, with a ridiculously dry tone, as if mocking him. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA." Stopping dry at the very end of the laugh, as if not even laughing to begin with, he continued. "That's a good one... if only it didn't start to sound like a broken record, ever since 40 years ago."
He turned to Kha. "I'll ask you again. Do you give up?"
And the boy replied like before, "No."
The big man charged suddenly. Kha had no time to move; the attack to his injured limb flattened out against the pillar, splaying blood out from the spilt cuts. Uncharacteristically, Austin held back from breaking the bone. "Good. Because I don't intend to let you."
"You are a disciplined man... and yet..." Kha ignored the pain as he spoke into the old man's hawk eyes. "I don't understand this. Why?"
Austin smirked. About time someone asked. He stepped back, and the boy peeled off the wall onto his fours.
"Every one of your pussy knight kind I came across, be it strong or weak had spouted the same rubbish ass-down-in-the-drain chicken bull. Some limped, some cried, some stood strong and tall, but for most part, you immature sons-of-bitches mostly mostly wanked out with the same boring crap." Austin continued as Kha got back up chanting scripts to blot out the pain. "That it's meaningless dishonorable, knight's yadayada, 3 finger girl-scout cookie swear."
He paused. The half-naked boy was still bent forward, but he was still listening.
"Put an Bulls before hit and that sums up what I think of you Belkan piece of trashes." Austin barked. " And you know what? Even if it isn't shit of bulls, it's chicken's. For all I care, you maggots can sit down and rock your Saint Bible all day long and recite your girl-scout honor, and it makes no difference to my eyes and you know why?"
Kha shook his head.
"Because if the real world is your perverted mind and your pansy dojo, then you can start hailing me Saint Abrams and my first verse of teaching would be you just got yourself a candyass full of shit."

His voice toned down as he narrowed his gaze. "And what is wrong with that?"
der Kleriker suddenly lashed out in a roundhouse which Austin parried easily, but the momentum of the block spun Kha into a vertical bicycle kick aimed at the buffed man's groin.
There was movement too fast for the eye, and Kha inexplicably found himself spinning uncontrollably through the air before smacking onto skin-biting sand back first, knocking his air out. Kha cringed; he tried to get up; this time however, his body disobeyed.
But Austin was smiling. In fact, he was grinning from ear to ear.
"Pull yourself together. What was your name again?"
"Kha..."
"Kha, here, 530am tomorrow. We'll do some real training then."
With that, he walked away.
"Thank you, Sir!" Kha shouted back.

@Saint X : Abrams never reached Admiral. His highest rank is Major, when he retired from being a mage-commissioned officer at his 20s. After that, he's stayed an NCO Drill Inspector, still a Major, but with no promotions. He's highly respected among his peer and slightly younger generation, but he won't be among the "heroes" of TSAB hailed in the near future, despite being the catalyst to training elite mages.
THAT'S AWESOME!!! I can see Satoshi and Austin fighting in a mock battle...mind if I do something like that?

"Ah...it was about what happened in the day before you transfered to the HQ. Maren and I...well." He scratched his cheek, blushing a little.
"Hmmm" Yui glared at him.
"Ahahaha---" He looked out the window, "The weather's nice isn't it?"
"Onii-chan~ cough it up!" She poked his arm.
"Yui...backseat..." Maren reminded her.
"Oh, sorry..." She sat back.
"Minawa-kun and I were on a date when we got involved in an incident related to the Lost Logia called 'Relic'." She explained it rather calmly.
"What? Onii-chan~~ That's not fair! Going out with another girl when you have me!" She said teasingly.

Maren sighed...these last few days have been like this one.

After parking, they left the car and headed for the entrance.

"Hmm, yeah...we're not here to deliever the Relic since we're not allowed to do that..." Koji gave it some thought.
"We are here to receive thanks from the Commander and also exchange information in case another incident like that happens." Maren explained.
"I see...well, it'll be fun, seeing everyone again." She held onto Koji's arm.
"Y-Yui..." He complained, but then Yui slid her fingers between his.
"Teehee~" She giggled teasingly. "Payback for not telling me that you went on a date with Maren-chan." and winked.

At the entrance, Griffith was waiting for them, and took them to Hayate's office.
They rang the bell. "Yes, please come in." Hayate's voice was heard on the other side.
"Excuse us." They came in and saluted Hayate.
"Enforcer Maren, reporting."
"Private Second Class, Minawa Koji, reporting."
"Private Third Class, Minawa Yui, reporting."
"Ah, welcome." Hayate smiled.
She gets up from her desk and approaches them, "I am the commanding officer of Riot Force 6, Commander Yagami Hayate, pleased to meet you, Enforcer Maren."
"Likewise." She remained in saluting position.
"Don't worry about being formal. And..." She looks at Koji and Yui, "It's been a while, Koji-kun, Yui-chan."
"It sure has, Hayate-senpai." He bowed slightly.
"Hayate-neechan, where's Rein?" Yui looked around looking for her.
"She's with Shari in the lab, analyzing data from the Forwards...
"Oh..." She said a little disappointed.
Hayate walked to the couch, "Shall we go straight to business?" as she sat, she signaled them to sit aswell.
They all sat down and discussed about that day's event, sharing information from the battles.

"H-Hayate-senpai?" Surprised, he blushed embarrassed.
Hayate then held Maren's hands, "Maren-chan."
"Eh?" Koji didn't even notice Hayate getting next to Maren.
"Koji-kun is a healthy young man, I'm sure he'll be able to fulfill your expectations. I know that from personal experience." She winked at Maren.
Maren simply blinked.
"Hayate-senpai, why are you acting like my mother??" He said surprised, "And what do you mean by 'personal experience'??" He got redder by the second.
Hayate giggles, "Gomen ya, Koji-kun, it's beacause I haven't picked on you in such a long while."
"Ah...Don't worry about that, Hayate-senpai, Yui has been doing your share of pranks too..." He waved his hand assuring her.
Yui hugged him, "Yep, seeing Onii-chan's reaction is fun!" Koji sighed.
"I'm sure she has." Hayate giggled again.
"You know, there's still plenty of room here in the Riot Force 6, and your help would be welcome." She looked at them all.
"I appreciate the offer, but I'll politely decline it..." Maren said, bowing slightly.
"Too bad...how about you two?" She looked at the siblings.
"Eh?" They said in unison.
"W-well, it's quite tempting, but I'm currently working with Maren-san."
"Yeah, me too, I'm helping Onii-chan and Maren-chan too."
"Hmmm, I see, then maybe a tour would change your mind?"
"That would be nice. Right, Yui?" Koji turned to her.
"Yes." Yui nodded.
"Maren-san?" The siblings looked at her.
"I don't mind..."
"The it's settled, let's get going then." She got up and headed to the door.
"Eh? Hayate-senpai, you're going to give us the tour? Aren't you busy?"
"Not right now, since I knew you were coming, I left some space in my schedule to spend some time with you." She smiled.

While the Kagatsuchi and the Fumi Maru, the two ships that sustained the most damage during the battle were being repaired back at AX’s Kagami base, the Silvana in the meantime had made the lake beside MD6 Base her home in the meantime, moored at the far end of the lake on a temporary dock erected by the base personnel- as to allow the holopad to function.
Kyla was having a good time though, training all the Aces, Forwards, even the Otome and Valkyries in it- so it was a really busy place, with mock explosions, flashes of light and so on- making it feel like a mock battle- all the while with Reverie watching- being the GDI envoy has its perks- not being asked by Admiral Kyla Scrya to join in is one of them- beside her is Queen General Mashiro, looking on at her Otome.
It was The Aces and the Four Meisters against the rest. So far, not one from either side had fallen, despite wide area of effect attacks- Subaru and Ashton in their current state of fusion were up to par with the two of the Four Meisters- Arika and Nina, with a bit of help from Tea and Ruri, who were also fighting Chacha and E*****. Erio, Caro and the Valkyries were attacking the Aces, who were currently trying to remember how to dodge the extremely fast forms of the alternate maidens. Then, the siren rang.
“Okay… that’s enough for today…” Kyla called out from the pad’s station. “Get some rest and in fifteen minutes I’ll tell you of my evaluation for this session… and tomorrow would be a special session, so please be prepared.”
The weary teams finally let out their collective sigh of relief- none more so than Subaru.
“Phew… that finally ends it… But I still can’t believe that the Admiral is doing this kind of training with you guys- it’s only been three days but I’m beat each time- how do you guys do it?”
“Well… We get used to it.” Ashton’s astral image appeared beside her. “Come on… let me move your body so that you can rest a bit.”
“Okay… but easy with the walking- you’ll still tire me if you move enough.”
Subaru obliged, as they moved back to the base.
After an hour, Kyla had already given a good evaluation and decided to cancel the upcoming session and gave the people involved three days of leave to rest up- she had just gotten word that the ship repair was almost complete and she and the command bloc would have to go back to Kagami to inspect the ships- Especially Mashiro, since it was her ships.
Outside of the base, on the parking lot, a black car had parked and someone had stepped out- it was none other than the previous Keeper of Ballista and Rurika’s Archery Master Rai Nimura, also once known as Raine Dais, the (ex-) Salient Archer- a former enemy of the Aces and AX, now turned neutral and Earth resident. In the meantime, Rurika had invited Tea out on the town to check out some sales and had just passed out the doors, and hence saw her sensei.
“Master!!!” Ruri called out to him.
“Well, well, well… if it isn’t my disciple…” Rai spoke as she approached the two.
“Master?” Tea asked.
“He’s the one who gave me Ballista and thought me how to use it…”
“Well, seem to be doing fine.” Rai then commented. “And who’s your friend?”
“Master Rai, meet Teana Lanstar… Tea, meet my Master Rai…”
“Nice to meet you…” Rai then bowed. “My name is Rai Nimura, Former Dei Templar of the Bow and Arrow… and Respected Teacher of Rurika Serenade…”
“Teana Lanstar, Forward Star, Mobile Division 6…” Tea introduced herself as well.
“Well… what brings you here master?” Ruri then asked.
“Well, I have to relay a message to the Admiral… I was told that she was here.”

"Shamal-sensei~" Yui smiled as she saw her with her arms ready to hug someone.
Then, Shamal passed by Yui. "Are ?" She blinked.
"Ko-chan~ You've gotten so big~" She commented as she snuggled onto him.
"Sh-Shamal-san...can't...breathe." Koji spoke, smothered by Shamal's 'attributes'.
"It's been such a long time." She continued attached to him.
"Shamal-sensei ignored me...." Yui said as she looked at them. "I want a hug too~"
Maren looked at them and turned to Hayate.
"Commander Yagami...is it always like this?"
"Hayate is fine...and yes, every reunion with them is pretty much like this." She spoke normally.

Koji thuds, quickly getting back up, "Shamal-san, Yui doesn't swing that way..."

Koji blushed at those words, "D-don't call me that..." He replied also embarrassed.
Rein then noticed Maren, "Hayate-chan, who's that?"
"This is Enforcer Maren, she came along with Koji-kun and Yui-chan." She introduced her.
"I'm called Maren, nice to meet you." Maren bowed slightly.
"Yes, likewise. I am Reinforce Zwei, but please call me Rein." Rein bowed to her.
"SO this is a Unison Device...It's the first time I've seen one." She took a closer look at Rein.
As Maren got closer to Rein, she also got closer to Koji, and he stepped back when he saw the cute expression of curiosity on her face.
"Uh..." He looked away.
Rein immediately noticed it and turned to Maren.
Resting her hands on her hips, she asked, "Maren-san, what kind of relationship you have with Koji-sama?"
*giku* Went Koji, flinching as he heard that.
"Relationship?" Maren turned to Koji. "We're..."
"Lovers!" Hayate jumped in.
"GAH!" Rein said shocked.
"H-Hayate-senpai!" Koji complained.

"Maren-san!" She pointed at her, Maren blinked at her. "I now recognize you as my rival ~desu!"

"Hayate-senpai?" He turned to her, "Why are you filming this? and where did you get that camera from?" He added.

"Oh, that's Zafira-san isn't it?" Koji saw Zafira at the end of the hall.
"Wai~ Zafira~" Yui quickened her pace to meet him.
"Ah..." She then saw Vivio, hiding behind Zafira. "There's a small girl here..."
Koji and the others walked to them, "Who's that?"
"The new addition to our family." Hayate said playfully.
"I see...Hi! I'm Yui!" She greeted her ecstatically
But that only made Vivio flinch.
"Ah...Onii-chan, she's scared." She turned to him, worried.
Maren approached her, and kneeled, "Hi." She said gently.
"H-Hi..." Vivio replied hesitating a little.

"Where Mama is..." She replied.
"I see...Then, come with us, we'll take you to your Mama." She extended her hand to Vivio and she grabbed it.
As they walked to the Training Grounds, everyone looked at Maren, astonished.
"Maren-san...that was amazing." Koji commented.
"Rein is surprised too ~desu" Rein added.
Holding hands with Vivio, Maren explained, "I used to take care of children...a long time ago..."
"Maren-chan sugoi! I bet you'll be a great mother when you grow up." Yui said with enthusiasm.
Maren blushed a little, and Vivio grabbed on tighter to Maren, "Onee-san is scary..."
"Ah..." Yui froze, shocked. "I'm...scary?"
"Yui, don't take it so seriously." He tried to cheer her up.
"Onii-chan, tell me! Am I scary? Am I?" She held onto him, shaking him.
"Hahaha---" He tittered, "I'd say more like...intimidating."

Although this attack list is awesomely scary With most of the attacks targetting a person's magic circuits, it'll be a miracle if the person can still cast magic afterwards, assuming he survives the corrosion

While the Kagatsuchi and the Fumi Maru, the two ships that sustained the most damage during the battle were being repaired back at AX’s Kagami base, the Silvana in the meantime had made the lake beside MD6 Base her home in the meantime, moored at the far end of the lake on a temporary dock erected by the base personnel- as to allow the holopad to function.
Kyla was having a good time though, training all the Aces, Forwards, even the Otome and Valkyries in it- so it was a really busy place, with mock explosions, flashes of light and so on- making it feel like a mock battle- all the while with Reverie watching- being the GDI envoy has its perks- not being asked by Admiral Kyla Scrya to join in is one of them- beside her is Queen General Mashiro, looking on at her Otome.
It was The Aces and the Four Meisters against the rest. So far, not one from either side had fallen, despite wide area of effect attacks- Subaru and Ashton in their current state of fusion were up to par with the two of the Four Meisters- Arika and Nina, with a bit of help from Tea and Ruri, who were also fighting Chacha and E*****. Erio, Caro and the Valkyries were attacking the Aces, who were currently trying to remember how to dodge the extremely fast forms of the alternate maidens. Then, the siren rang.
“Okay… that’s enough for today…” Kyla called out from the pad’s station. “Get some rest and in fifteen minutes I’ll tell you of my evaluation for this session… and tomorrow would be a special session, so please be prepared.”
The weary teams finally let out their collective sigh of relief- none more so than Subaru.
“Phew… that finally ends it… But I still can’t believe that the Admiral is doing this kind of training with you guys- it’s only been three days but I’m beat each time- how do you guys do it?”
“Well… We get used to it.” Ashton’s astral image appeared beside her. “Come on… let me move your body so that you can rest a bit.”
“Okay… but easy with the walking- you’ll still tire me if you move enough.”
Subaru obliged, as they moved back to the base.
After an hour, Kyla had already given a good evaluation and decided to cancel the upcoming session and gave the people involved three days of leave to rest up- she had just gotten word that the ship repair was almost complete and she and the command bloc would have to go back to Kagami to inspect the ships- Especially Mashiro, since it was her ships.
Outside of the base, on the parking lot, a black car had parked and someone had stepped out- it was none other than the previous Keeper of Ballista and Rurika’s Archery Master Rai Nimura, also once known as Raine Dais, the (ex-) Salient Archer- a former enemy of the Aces and AX, now turned neutral and Earth resident. In the meantime, Rurika had invited Tea out on the town to check out some sales and had just passed out the doors, and hence saw her sensei.
“Master!!!” Ruri called out to him.
“Well, well, well… if it isn’t my disciple…” Rai spoke as she approached the two.
“Master?” Tea asked.
“He’s the one who gave me Ballista and thought me how to use it…”
“Well, seem to be doing fine.” Rai then commented. “And who’s your friend?”
“Master Rai, meet Teana Lanstar… Tea, meet my Master Rai…”
“Nice to meet you…” Rai then bowed. “My name is Rai Nimura, Former Dei Templar of the Bow and Arrow… and Respected Teacher of Rurika Serenade…”
“Teana Lanstar, Forward Star, Mobile Division 6…” Tea introduced herself as well.
“Well… what brings you here master?” Ruri then asked.
“Well, I have to relay a message to the Admiral… I was told that she was here.”
“Admiral? You mean Admiral Scrya?” Tea then asked.
“One and the same… I’m the one who recommended this kid here…” Rai replied, patting Ruri’s head.
“I’m not a kid master!” Ruri replied.
“Well anyways, I don’t want to delay your dates so I best be leaving…” Rai then said, walking on and waving off.
“Dates? He is weird…” Tea commented.
“You said it…” Ruri replied. “And you know who’s his girlfriend? You won’t believe it.”
“Who?”
Rurika whispered the answer, which shocked Tea- totally.
“That’s unbelievable! I can’t think that she has a sister, let along that sister having a boyfriend like him… does she know that he is a mage?”
Rurika nodded.
Command Bloc Room, five minutes later.
“Well, well, well… if it isn’t the archer…” Kyla greeted. “Welcome.”
The four Aces- Nanoha, Fate, Hayate and Keroko lined up and faced him- and said one word.

“Hey! Don’t say that! You know how peeved I am when called that way… Miyuki laughs at me when someone calls me that…” Rai quickly retorted.
Mashiro could only giggle.

"Sh-Shamal-san...can't...breathe." Koji spoke, smothered by Shamal's 'attributes'.
"It's been such a long time." She continued attached to him.
"Shamal-sensei ignored me...." Yui said as she looked at them. "I want a hug too~"
Maren looked at them and turned to Hayate.
"Commander Yagami...is it always like this?"
"Hayate is fine...and yes, every reunion with them is pretty much like this." She spoke normally.
"I see..." Maren looked at them again.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I just got a little excited by seeing you again." Shamal apologized.

"Yui-chan~" She then hugged her.
"And who is that lovely young lady?" She looked at Maren.

"Nice to meet you too..." She sized her up.
"Hmm, I think I have some dresses that'll fit you perfectly~" She smiled at her.
"Shamal-sensei, you have some clothes here?" Yui immedeately got interested.
"But of course! Everykind of clothes, you name it, I got it here." She clasped her hands together happily.
"I'm fine with the uniform I have on, thank you..." Maren politely declines.
"Too bad...so, who's girlfriend are you? Koji-kun's? or maybe Yui-chan's~" She said playfully.
Koji thuds, quickly getting back up, "Shamal-san, Yui doesn't swing that way..."
"I'm not so sure about that, nee, Yui-chan?" She smiled at Yui.
"Nee~" She replied playfully.
(Y-Yui...don't play along in such things...) He said disturbed.
"Okay, you two." Hayate clappled her hands to break them up, "There's still plenty to see, you can catch up during lunch."

"Ah..." Rein blushed and turned away, "Koji-sama~" She said embarrassed.
Koji blushed at those words, "D-don't call me that..." He replied also embarrassed.
Rein then noticed Maren, "Hayate-chan, who's that?"
"This is Enforcer Maren, she came along with Koji-kun and Yui-chan." She introduced her.
"I'm called Maren, nice to meet you." Maren bowed slightly.
"Yes, likewise. I am Reinforce Zwei, but please call me Rein." Rein bowed to her.
"SO this is a Unison Device...It's the first time I've seen one." She took a closer look at Rein.
As Maren got closer to Rein, she also got closer to Koji, and he stepped back when he saw the cute expression of curiosity on her face.
"Uh..." He looked away.
Rein immediately noticed it and turned to Maren.
Resting her hands on her hips, she asked, "Maren-san, what kind of relationship you have with Koji-sama?"

"Relationship?" Maren turned to Koji. "We're..."
"Lovers!" Hayate jumped in.
"GAH!" Rein said shocked.

(She's at it again...) He sweatdropped.

Yui nodded, "Yep, we all work together, and it's fun."

"Yeah...t's true." He assured her.
"But they did go on a date that day..." Yui added.

Resting her hands on her hips, she asked, "Maren-san, what kind of relationship you have with Koji-sama?"
*giku* Went Koji, flinching as he heard that.
"Relationship?" Maren turned to Koji. "We're..."
"Lovers!" Hayate jumped in.
"GAH!" Rein said shocked.
"H-Hayate-senpai!" Koji complained.
"Sorry, Koji-kun, I couldn't help it." She excused herself, with her back turned to them and showing a smirk.
(She's at it again...) He sweatdropped.
"Koji-sama...how could you?" She fell on her knees dramatically, crying.
"R-Rein, don't take it so seriously...Hayate-senpai was just joking. He tried to cheer her up. "Maren-san and I work together in the Central HQ, along with Yui."
"Yui-chan...is it true ~desu?" Rein looked up at Yui.
Yui nodded, "Yep, we all work together, and it's fun."
"Really ~desu?" She turned to Koji.
"Yeah...t's true." He assured her.
"But they did go on a date that day..." Yui added.
"GAH!" Rein said shocked again, entering depressed mode.
"Y-Yui!" He reminded her.
"Gomen~ But you did go on a date..." She apologized.
But then, Rein got up and turned to Maren with a serious face, "This isn't over yet! Just because you went on a date with Koji-sama doesn't mean you're going to have him!"
"Eh?" Koji said surprised, "R-Rein?"
"Maren-san!" She pointed at her, Maren blinked at her. "I now recognize you as my rival ~desu!"
"Wha???" He stepped back, even more surprised.
"This is gold~~" Said Hayate, filming them with a camera.
"Hayate-senpai?" He turned to her, "Why are you filming this? and where did you get that camera from?" He added.

Moving on, they continued the tour, now with Rein accompanying them, sitting on Koji's shoulder.
"By the way, Rein, where's Shari?" Hayate asked.
"After analyzing the data, Shari went to the Training Grounds to help Nanoha-san, everyone should be there."
"Good, you'll be able to meet everyone."
"Oh, that's Zafira-san isn't it?" Koji saw Zafira at the end of the hall.
"Wai~ Zafira~" Yui quickened her pace to meet him.
"Ah..." She then saw Vivio, hiding behind Zafira. "There's a small girl here..."
Koji and the others walked to them, "Who's that?"
"The new addition to our family." Hayate said playfully.
"I see...Hi! I'm Yui!" She greeted her ecstatically
But that only made Vivio flinch.
"Ah...Onii-chan, she's scared." She turned to him, worried.
Maren approached her, and kneeled, "Hi." She said gently.
"H-Hi..." Vivio replied hesitating a little.
"Nice to meet you, I am Maren."
"I'm Vivio." She held onto her stuffed bunny.
"Vivio...That's a cute name. Where are you going?"
"Where Mama is..." She replied.
"I see...Then, come with us, we'll take you to your Mama." She extended her hand to Vivio and she grabbed it.
As they walked to the Training Grounds, everyone looked at Maren, astonished.
"Maren-san...that was amazing." Koji commented.
"Rein is surprised too ~desu" Rein added.
Holding hands with Vivio, Maren explained, "I used to take care of children...a long time ago..."
"Maren-chan sugoi! I bet you'll be a great mother when you grow up." Yui said with enthusiasm.
Maren blushed a little, and Vivio grabbed on tighter to Maren, "Onee-san is scary..."
"Ah..." Yui froze, shocked. "I'm...scary?"
"Yui, don't take it so seriously." He tried to cheer her up.
"Onii-chan, tell me! Am I scary? Am I?" She held onto him, shaking him.
"Hahaha---" He tittered, "I'd say more like...intimidating."

Maren sure shined when she managed to calm Vivio
And, Yui got a critical blow at her ego when Vivio called her scary
It's late, so I'll do the drawings tomorrow...maybe

Nothing wrong with that, it's kinda hard to "like" most of his other spells
That's the way to compensate for the lack of sheer power - if the opponent isn't dead ater the attack he's still crippled

I based his magic breaking special ability on that discussion. Also a reason why his ability looked like Nanoha's Barrel Shot, and when the it hit Natalia, she felt some pressure. In other words, something like sound waves.
Sure she looks young but not that young....right..?
