Knock me off my bordem

I have seen:

FMA
Hunter X Hunter
GTO
One Piece Bleach
Naruto / Shippuuden
Claymore
yada yada....

I need something that is fun and exciting. I remember last year stayed up 5 in the morning catching up on one piece. I need an anime that will surprise me. Crazy plot, twist whatever.

Animes that kept you up all night (not horror).
Animes that made you disobey your parents to stay up and watch the anime.

Phew. That was alot

Ah, very rarely do I marathon anime, and of the few that I have, I remember one was horror, one was a mecha action, one wasn't necessarily "horror" but was quite gruesome, one was Air, and there were a couple others.

I'll agree with Byakuya in that you'll probably like Code Geass and Death Note, and maybe also Full Metal Panic!, which is the mecha series that I marathoned.

Another possibility is Last Exile, which is quite catchy, has great visuals, and isn't just fluff and fighting.

I'd recommend Eureka Seven to any FMA fans. Those two are similar in many aspects and are both awesome animes in their own rights.

If you watch and like Last Exile, go for scrapped princess. Although not as good as visual, still very great compared to other animes and has far better story than last exile (at least not as confusing of an ending).

Also, try Welcome to the NHK. Hilarious anime about a socially withdrawn 22 year old who is confronted by a young girl who seems to know alot about him. Attracted by her promise to cure him of his social withdrawn ways, he accepts her help. The story is basically about hardship of life and how people deal with them.

Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo: It's based on one of the greatest book of all times. Great visuals (Except for their cloths and hair, I never got used to it) and awesome storyline.

I've been told that it tore apart the novel terribly though. And apparently it doesn't focus on Dantes anymore.
Of course, I'm skeptical in watching any of Gonzo's literature adaptations, so I probably won't ever try this one.

Yes I do.

But wwevijay probably won't like it because it's not as fun and catchy as the other series listed.

If you want something fun and exciting, look no further than Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. It's a mind-blowing trip from beginning to end. I promise you wont be disappointed.

Initial D??? nice plot and cool car racing action.. you might want to try it especially if you're into cars

I second Death Note to... I always look into the next episode cause I said WTF?! the episode's finished? cause one episode ain't enought to fill my pleasure... nice plot, very surprising indeed

Action, fantasy, comedy and romance.

Fate Stay Night
Kaze no Stigma
Full Metal Panic
Bleach

And some good slice of life animes might be Clannad, Kanon and Shuffle!

FLCL fits the above description perfectly, and it's only 6 episodes, so it won't take up too much of your time if you end up not liking it.
