The emperor was a very fun character. I'd love to see more from him on earth.

Things are finally starting to heat up, or are they? Anyways, the emperor voice-over and the last Godom & Sodorrha made my day (and it's been a pretty good day).
Crazy good series.

...now if only hell-wolf gets some more screen time

The halfway marker of the second season has been reached, that means the OP changes. A new form for Sunred and new attacks. It's all very pyrotechnical. Even if the release was delayed a bit for the New Years', it was still fun to watch.

Astro Fighter Sunred is so underrated... sad to see only a few people actually follow the series (at least compared to the thousands that follow other series)

P.S.
Anyone noticed Kayoko's new hairdo in the latest ep?

Sunred's golden (ha) like always - was really late to this party until sometime last month.

Yep

Pleasant episode. The "for world domination !" is my favourite part.

I agree. I wasn't fan of these Pudding Empire sequences but episode 39 changed my mind with a really funny emperor (can't resist to laugh with his sounds )

I'm just kind of baffled that the Sunshoot loses its charge everytime it gets unplugged for some reason or another.

Other than that, the new OP bits are awesome. ESPECIALLY P-CHAN ACCELERATING TO ORBITAL VELOCITY. Along with the nuke in its mouth, Florsheim has an ICBM in its hands! Though Vamp would never have that happen on his watch.

This just appeared on the flyingDog website, though it's been in the listings for a while now.

Sunred Mizonokuchi Songs Festival

Besides including both OPs and EDs, it has a wide selection of other songs, including the themes of other heroes (such as Sakyuun), the Weather Three theme, a duet by Sunred and Kayoko, a song by Vamp, the Kawasaki city anthem...

I am so ordering this.

The Pudding Empire is actually an older manga by Makoto Kubota, creator of Tentai Senshi Sunred. By the name of "Go Go! Pudding Empire".
It's a very funny series, too. And you can definitely appreciate the Pudding Empire bits in Sunred more once you've read it.

Hopefully there'll be a Pudding Empire anime at one time, though I kind of doubt it'll go beyond these cameos. (rooting to see "Majin Zeldo, family man")

The Emperor is an awesome character, even in the manga. His love for jerseys, need for acceptance by his people, and small comments throughout the manga are quite amusing.

After a long hiatus, subs for Sunred have finally resumed. Still in the New Years' gags even though it's April, but the show's still entertaining. The Zodiac bit with the capybara was great, though I had to do a bit of research for the second part. The wonders of the Internet. Kayoko's "wish" was also nice for a quick laugh.
