Come to think of it, Derflinger also calls Saito "aibo"...
Anyways, and so, episode 9 is done and we have three episodes left. What a dreadful number.
Comparing all of the episodes this season, this episode was actually somewhat decent. Little novel raping (not none though), and there isn't much to complain about... And even the novel raping wasn't bad enough to be irritating. (By the way, just pointing out, but novel raping itself isn't a bad thing. It's the fact that the novel raping is badly done that is a bad thing, like... a lot of things)
But because they followed the novel closely, I worry about rushing... We only have three episodes left... Though I can imagine how they plan to do it.
But still... Louise really is annoying, isn't she... (*-_-)
Spoiler for ep9:
We go through:
-Irukuku's first appearance, as well as the revelation that she is Sylpheed
-Henrietta imprisoning the group
-Colbert and co. rescuing them
-Tabitha awakens at the castle and Pitashal reveals that they plan to force her to drink the insanity potion her mother drank in the past
-Pitashal and Joseph's exchange about Satan's Gate (AKA, holy land)
Not much to comment this week.
I found some of the comedy unnecessary, but it was done a lot better than last week's, like Malicorne's creepiness.
For some reason, Siesta is coming along on the Ostrant... I don't recall that happening in the nov...
They took out a good scene... If you look at the illustrations of the novel focusing on these events (Baka-Tsuki is good, I guess), you'll know what I mean...
Derflinger... They don't show anything to explain it... I assume Colbert or Kirche brought Derf with them and gave it to Saito, but it looked like Derf just popped up from nowhere because it was never shown or explained or anything...
The part where Lousie handed her cape to Henrietta means a lot, but for some reason, I just can't find it impressing in the anime... Tension 0...
Saito is captured. Then Louise starts talking about her love life. Wonderful.
You know, thinking about it cruelly, Tabitha wouldn't be all that different insane... She's usually emotionless anyways, so if she went hikikomori-insane and closed herself to the world, it really wouldn't be all that different. Well, besides the fact she would start to look worse on the outside (get thinner)... It'll just be like if she has a illness now, drinking the potion would only make the illness worse.
Preview: Hmm~, do they plan to spend a whole episode at that part...?

What the heck is Siesta doing with them? They didnt even explained... In the novels, because there was no reason to bring her along, she was left out...
Someone should shot the one who thinks out the explanations, because he.she is obviously thinking nothing...
Anyway, I really liked this episode. Would have been better without the boob joke in the beginning, but anyway! Irukuku is too cute, and her speaking pattern with the "nanone" reminds me a bit of Shampoo in Ranma 1/2.

Knowing this anime, they brought her along so they can do some breast jokes or love-comedy in the future episodes. Besides that, absolutely no reason should Siesta be with them...

Besides that annoying moment I was glad that they managed to keep Louise's annoying attitude to a minimum and actually show that she may have a bit of humanity left. But of course it wasn't for Tabitha but for Saito.
Irukuku is very cute...very very cute. I'm not usually attracted to her character type but this time I found it irresistible to call her cute.
Surprisingly we also have a plot. But isn't it a bit late in the series?
No matter. It's not why I watch the series for anyway ^^

It was an okay episode... at least Irukuku (For some reason Kogarashi pops up in my head while I was typing that ) shows up.
Siesta she went with them.... sigh
Man, this was a boring episode. Where is the fanservice? Where is the boob joke? Where is the bewb fondling, and I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT MAN-BOOB and self indulgence. Where is the jealous Louise who would kick Saito in the crotch from behind? Oh wait, scratch that. We had that in the episode.
Next episode better have more boobs! *shakes fist at no one particular*

Yet the nobles made it look so easy when they once claimed that they are the top-notch and proud of their nobility.... For one person such as Tabitha, I would think that even Louise wouldn't be so soft. Perhaps it was because of Saito. *Now that's just stupid..
Well it just shows that Louise grew up. But again it doesnt look so convincing as it does in novels, simply because the scene is much stronger and characters like louise are much more developed.
