Mmm... It was okay. One thing I didn't really like was the fact that a good amount of the episode was just a repeat of the original episode 12... I know that it needs to split, but regardless, it wasn't interesting seeing the same thing over again.
But otherwise, it wasn't bad. Nice set-up to what will happen when Kirino leaves (Yay? Annoying girl leaves, and because she leaves, that annoying sandbag protagonist won't act so... ugh... as much... I hope). I hope Minami (the scene where she put on her glasses was cute!) will get more time on-screen now that Kirino is gone, but I have a feeling Kuroneko will just take up the empty space instead. Nice that it didn't take a whole year to air at least, like a certain something... Though that was partially because they reused a lot of stuff. Next one will be......

Well the last half was definitely a step up from what the original TV end got shafted with, and after seeing the last scene of the episode I realized what was going on, so after a bit of research I now sort of know where this is going and why the production team decided to do this.

Eh, only the last 10 minutes were different. That was disappointing.
Yet another series saved by a Hanazawa Kana character. So that's what Kuroneko meant when she said she'd call him something else soon enough (I thought it was a joke and that she was going to call him "darling" ) . I'm actually looking forward to a potential second season now. If only Kirino could stay in America... yes, I know that'll never happen but a man can dream. PS: That animesuki award header fills me with a warm and fuzzy feeling (`・ω・´)

Wow, totally forgot that there was streaming for this episode.
Anyway, first half was a repeat.. kind of disappointed except that Kyousuke and Akagi part which I had a good laugh again. It did refresh my memory and bring up again what Kuroneko was going to refer to Kyousuke as; which the answer was heard at the end. Going to see how it goes since this setup episode was just as expected. OP visual is splendid! By the way, any words on when is the next episode going to be stream? Thanks. |

I did forget about the true ending which probably made it better than actively waiting.
It did make more sense here with Kirino not letting the news slip and actually leaving. Talking with Kyousuke one more time gave her the confidence to go. Makes sense for her to push herself and see how far she can go. Besides would be back in a while so wouldn't be terrible. The ending with Kuroneko was definitely nice . She definitely called him something different. With them in the same school can definitely throw up some flags.

Since I already read the novel and was specifically waiting for that last scene...a 10/10.
Well, 1st half is a repeat. As far as the 2nd part goes, they are 100% faithful to novel with regards to the 3 important scenes - The Ita-cycle, Kirino leaving for US, and well, Kuroneko kouhai. |

As for the episode, I gotta say I loved it. From the new opening, which even showed the siblings in their early years, to the ending, I loved everything. Seeing Kirino leave like that was really sad. To think we won't have her around for a while is heartwrenching. With my dislike for Kuroneko, I honestly hope other characters bring more variety to the fray in order to make the following episodes more interesting. And I loved the introduction of the new character. I'm hoping we see more of him soon! Final veredict: 8/10 |

Kind of upset that the first half was the same, i was suspecting a whole different. The Akagi part still cracks me up.
Well it was sad to see Kirino go, but i prefer this over the other ep. At least Kyosuke wished her good luck and didn't have a grudge. Still don't get why she didn't tell him. Was it because she was scared to tell him or she was afraid of him trying to get her to stay? Still wonder what's in that album. So that's what Kuroneko meant, that was definitely the best. The Op was good as well, nice to see pics of them when they were younger.
