Thanks for the backup Goose, I thought I explained that in my previous post but might have been missed.

Anyway Board, for the side stories being considered canon, lets just say that outside of AyuMayaAlternative (which was conceived as a gag way, way before MLA was completed) All the other side stories with Muv Luv Alternative in their title can be considered part of the continuity. TDA is part of the Unlimited continuity, not to be confused with the side stories that come with it.

Just to put some facts together, Adoration, which that pic comes from, happened during the same time part as Eurofront, which makes the epilogue with that pic sometime way after the end of alternative (2-3 years after? Assuming Eurofront is 2000-2001, that would be 2003-2004?). Putting together some stories from TSFiA which had the Type-04 using the Japanese import version of the Mk.57 SSG, which was adapted with astonishing speed. From Adoration, we have a IRG cadet on attachment who was overawed by the SSG's power, and 2 years later it was adopted, so some assumptions can be made.

So saying that Adoration is 'only' a gag article makes no sense, since we do know that Ifriede goes on to fight in the diversion for operation Ouka (Chronicles PV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3eEcBuYj4v8), and thus the Wolf Brigade of Takemi's would be possible as well, years down the road, together with the fact that they were testing export versions of the Type-00C (but no confirmation if they really did export it, of course.)

If anything the other Chronicles side story Rebirth is much more of a gag material, making me vomit and cry rivers of blood every time I look at it (which is why its taking so long to finish transcripting it...)

Everyone makes a sound of admiration for the Captain. The Brazil girl steps up, giving a cheer of encouragement for the Captain.
<Between passion and serenity, no, more like the intersection of uneasiness and confidence? Embarrassed, but bold> thinks Silvio as he records her with his camera eye.
<This is dangerous, this feeling. Worth 10 billion in the virtuous day, and 100 billion at night, is how Rentso would put it…>
Silvio slowly pans up from her feet, stopping at her breasts, and zooms in.
<Mu!, I hear it, I can Hear it… the message from the breast at size isn’t everything. Though I agree personally, however! The doctor’s super-dreadnaught class is unforgettable… The captain’s weight class is user friendly, which literally fits in the hand! Perhaps Rentso would also give the same or higher score… >
Interrupting his inner thoughts, Isumi continues
“Please, call me ‘Michi’, run~ run~”
“W-what?” A stunned Silvio gasps.
<Third defense line breached!!!>
Yuuko bursts out with a giggle.
“Huh?... What?” A confused Isumi queries.
“Captain… that’s…” the blue haired female officer answers.
“…Was that, different?... did I went too far?”
“Rather than overdoing it…”
An embarrassedly blushing captain falls to her knees.
“…Ah… That…” She gets up. “ T-that, Lt Orlandi, this is…”
“I understand… it is ok, don’t worry” Silvio gentlemanly replies.
“Eh?”
“That level of eccentricity, doesn’t cloud your charm at all.”
“E…eccentric…”
“Thank you very much. I have learnt much about the profoundness of the Japanese Culture from you.”
“Thank you… that… makes me happy.” Isumi replies with a strained smile.
<That, was like a kick to the head from behind… The differences of the Japanese culture from the culture of those in Christian lands, it is defiantly more than meets the eye…>
“So Isumi has withdrawn already.” Yuuko mutters. “Then, next, Suzumiya Elder!”

on what part in the chronicles pv shows that Ilfriede and the others of her group participated in operation Ouka? I watched the pv but i only saw the destruction of a (Eiffel tower?)tower. That's Euro front? How is that part of operation Ouka's diversion to attack the original hive?

Those phrases seem to be meant for reading with CG images

I have nearly zero idea about what just happened(Except there seems to be a lot of focus on those "Hardwares that could contain the world"Dude,I know having a still working junk is very important after receiving lots of implants and hardware,but you should maintain a working mind too)

That's the London Tower. Meaning that Dovers have finally fallen.

Apparently when the only limb you have that is still natural is the fifth one, you tend to use it alot... As said, making sense of his monolog gives me a headache...
heres the pic that went with it. The scenario is Yuuko's introduction of the A-01 team to her security manager, Silvio, the 6 million Euro man. This is the plan that tactical genius came up with to overcome a lady killer agent... counter seduction plan A-01...

Actually Dover to London fell once back in the 80s, and was reclaimed by the Euro forces. At the time Ifriede joined they had reclaimed the UK, and was actively guarding the borders using Dover as a base.

If I'm not wrong, that scene was from one of the stories in Eurofront where the BETA emerged from underground bypassing Dover invading London, and the Cerberus platoon was sortied to fight back against the invasion.

Ku Ku Ku... I shall just leave this part of the description of the Type-A battle fatigues then...

Silvio acknowledges that for Yuuko to come up with this she is a real genius. As his glaze on the hemline pasts that of the Brazilian bikini, he quickly looks back, thinking that apart from Brazil, the world is surely to accept the Type-A battle dress, and that the morale on the frontlines would be sure to raise as well. Yuuko gives a small laugh, saying she is glad he likes it, since “how many times was Marimo used until the design was perfected.

As for timeline, in duty lost arcadia the euro front, Ifriede joins in 2000 Jan, and Adoration takes place around the middle of the year. Not sure when the London battle takes place, until EuroFront VN comes out.

I've been reading through the Alternative timeline and I wonder if there is any additional information about the northern european front, which held for 12 years before collapsing?
Also, is there any information of how many died in europa and asia? Did most of the population stay on the continent despite the threat from the BETA or did many of them flee to Greenland/Canada etc?

No idea how many died, but the overall population by 2001 is just a little above 1 billion.

Most citizens of the countries that fell during the invasion moved to the North/South America, Canada, Australia, and the British Isles. I'm not sure if the south east asian countries took refugees, but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't.
