My choice would definitely be Balsa from Seirei no Moribito. She is wise, committed, and friggen strong. Other than Balsa, I would like a nice/pretty type that would cook and clean for me. Kasumi from Ranma 1/2 or Haruka from Minami-ke would be awesome for this. My number 1 would still be Balsa though ^ - ^

While I have nothing against having a strong sibling relationship, she's heading dangerously towards the Koi Kaze/Boku wa Imouto territory.

If I had to guess they've already crossed the line off-screen. But we'll see what happens in Episode 13.

But it's because she's not that I like her/the series so much. However, she's not what I would call a good little sister, since she's about my age. Kokoro or Ayane are the perfect ones.

Too many cutesy girls in this thread. So, how about Road Kamelot/Rhode Camelot from D. Gray Man

. Relentlessly cute and hopelessly psychotic (at times) with real human emotion buried underneath her faux-giggly persona. Added to that she has shown herself to be a fairly good sibling in the manga.

If i can choose:

Sakura of CCS, but i would have to strangle Li-kun first.
Ana of Ichigo Mashimaro, coppola-chan.
Imouto-chan of Haruhi, because she would hide herself in a bag to travel with you.
Chiaki of Minami-ke, too bad she's all devoted to her Haruka-nee-sama.

I'm also tempted to add Nanoha and Fate, but they've grown up recently.

Seconding Yasunobu from Suzuka. If you watch the show carefully, you can tell that he really is a loyal friend.

I'd also like to add Asaba from Kare Kano, who is in the same mold as Yasunobu, but is probably more attractive to women. If I were his wingman, we'd get a lot of women together, haha.

i d prolly pick some of the most annoying female character ever so that the bruises i would inflict them would fall under brother/sister fights juridictions.

seriously speacking i think i d pick asa from shuffle or any normal/secondary character girl cause i m not from random show just cause i m not a huge fan of the stereotypical female character in animes.

hmmm...prob'ly someone like Major Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell cuz she seems like someone who'd stand up for me...and overall just kick-ass...haha

As for a sister my own age (instead of big sister), I'd have to say Fuu from Samurai Champloo...we're so alike it's kinda frightening. lol
