My problem with that is when she fought Sasori or another little moments she had, that's what bothers me... It's up to Kishi to make her at least decent.
Same goes for a lot of characters... not only women.

Yes, she's taken the role of a victim and it's really annoying. Somehow I still expect her to be Naruto's sister, but that's not for sure. It's just how similar they in fact are.. she just has a typical red head touch... rose hair and jade eyes. It would make sense in a way.
At the moment, it's impossible for me to imagine that she will ever end up with Sasuke or Naruto...

I mean, if Kishi took the initiative to compare team 7 with the Sannin, Sakura isn't filling Tsunade's bra. Naruto and Sasuke are ok with the comparison, but Tsunade is a Kage and Kishi is failing there... at least, Sakura should use some summon jutsu, i'm not saying that she would summon Katsuyu but like Naruto summoned Gamakichi. Spoiler for manga:
Not cool Kishi...

SasuSaku makes me wince because of their terrible personalities. NaruSaku (more like SakuNaru) is...sometimes okay. Only the impending abuse is terrifying The Sakura love is amazing here. Not that I'm complaining

Naruto did not make good use of summoning in the fight against Sasuke. He could've won so easily with Gamabunta shooting huge water blasts at Sasuke. Even a smaller summon would've made sense.

I think Kishi is gay in disguise or has other serious psychological problems with women. He might be a chauvinist. There's no need to divide women into loveless viragoes and tender matrons... that's actually pretty archaic and for new generation manga it's basically anachronistic.
