"Exequias" = The Spanish Inquisition. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! Amongst their weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Aizen, and nice white uniforms - Oh damn!

Well they look very humanish so ether they are normal hollows, non-Arrancared Vasterodes, or Azein has a group of Vizards working for him.

I would go with some new breed of Semi-Arrancars or as Kagato said non-arrancarized Vasterodes . Though I dont agree with the Vizards assumption .

They aren't new vasterodes. There aren't that many in all of HM. Plus, if they were created from Vasterodes, then yammi would know that he wouldn't be able to fight against them even if he was at a 100 %.

If the Exquias were vasterodes, couldn't Aizen just make arrancar out of them and have the force he needs for his goals? Hitsugaya stated that 10 vasterodes were enough to take out S.S. there are 13 Exquias. Semi-arrancar fits better.

They are distinct from hollows as they have the body of a normal human and distinct from Arrancars due to their full mask As they are alike in appearance must be Hogyoku first test subjects .. maybe .. Semi Arrancars

Intresting to note Exquias Leader has horns while the rest dont

i thought they reminded me more of the costume people wear on Dia de los Muertos parades in Latin America.

the skull masks plus the leader with horns reminds me of some secret society... if i think of it, i'll post all about it.

In a way yeah ... Kubo is inspired by spanish a lot and Dia dr Los Muertos is spanish for Day of The Dead .

Bu I would still go with storm troopers . The old Star Wars costumes were very similar .

Sabaku Kyu The Ironman Join Date: Sep 2006	Spoiler for 255: Ishida's opponent looks sorta like a mime with wings. She fights with a weapon similar to a yo-yo. Other than that, not a particularly action-packed chapter. Aizen talks with what looks like to be one of the Exequias. However, this one wasn't in the squad we saw fight Dol Doni. He also talks to one of the espada (the one with glasses) and Gin makes an appearance.
