So I've gone through Emi, Rin and Hanako so far. The writing is good, but could have been better. Not exactly the level of writing you'd expect from a real actual published paper novel, but it's acceptable for a VN. I have some specific complaints about each path I played, but I still enjoyed all three.
I agree with the upthread comments on the CGs. Not only they are inconsistent, but some of them are just bad. While others are quite good. Weird, really. I'm going to play Lilly tomorrow, and that will be it. Forget Shizune, I had come to dislike her character back when I played the demo in 2009. |

Played it for a few hours and finished three routes. I must say that I'm generally impressed with the game. Usually I dive into VNs without huge expectations but I had few doubts concerning this peace of work.
After reading short summary of overall story, and knowing in what state the girls are, I expected this to be a heavy drama, and I'm really not the one to jump into depressing journey. But surprisingly it was not that sad, sure the eyes would get teary at times, but it was at acceptable level and the endings were really nice and heartwarming. So in the end, I'm glad I get to play this unique visual novel. Hanako and Lilly were my absolute favorites.

Finished Hanako route, good ending, I don't think I can make myself go back and do the bad ending. I think I'll go do Lily's route next since the save in Act 1 I have is right around where you'd split to go either Hanako or her.
