I feel so appreciated.

If you practice a lot, you'll surely become a great artist. Without all the practice I'd draw like a child from kindergarten. It helps a lot to draw regularly, speaking from my own experience here.

Random post is random.

So, I'm currently drawing and coloring the entire cast of Umineko (because I thought the PS3 port, while technically much nicer, loses a bit of eash person's "charm", so i thought I'd take a whack at it) , and ... I gotta say, even though Ryukishi's art is ... well, crappy, I gotta respect the guy for churning out what he did. So many characters. SO. MANY.

And it was only when I got around to doing the Stakes that I realized that he MUST have created the heads and bodies seperately, which is why different expressions have different angles to the head, and why almost everyone is sorely lacking a neck. Really wish I'd known that before I inked and scanned everybody, and I'm way too lazy to go back now.

I'm coloring everyone in order of their plot-appearance, and the last few I did were Evatrice and the Siesta's. Next is Ronove (who I forgot), and Ange ... eh, long post short, my level of respect for the character sprites has increased.

And as SOON as I finished coloring Shannon and Kanon, I swapped their heads, and was thoroughly pleased. XD

Yeah, I thought the same when the stake first appeared. I would like to see what your Shanon and Kanon swaps looked like. But, i hae to admit, Ryukishi's art improved by Chiru and more stylish, I should say.
