Indeed it is I saw a moment to have a bit of fun with the paper. I do remember asking my instructor about it before starting, to be sure it was alright. It was a little strange to be citing K-On! as opposed to the Journal of Cell Biology for my regular papers, though

I think I'll capitalize on the chance and make an addendum: "You know you watch too much anime when your persistent use of anime jokes actually catches on with your friends, even if they don't watch anime or the anime in question." My personal story is with Char Aznable and his infamous "three times faster than the others" meme concerning red-coloured stuff. I kept quoting it, and eventually, it just caught on, even though most of my friends have no idea of its origins

You know you watch too much anime when you take a Japanese class in College and everyone, including the teacher, is surprised to know that this is your first time taking that class.

No kidding, I seem to have more correct pronunciations and I speak it beautifully... Hiragana on the other hand, isn't so pretty...

I have to agree with this. The first time I took a Japanese language class, I myself was surprised to see that I was having such an easy time compared to my classmates.

I had no problems with pronunciation of the words, and the teacher said that the speed at which I spoke those words were close to how the native speakers did.

Also, because I watch way too much anime, even though that class was just a free elective - I enjoyed taking it more than my major subjects...

The latest addition: "You know you watch too much anime when your iPad/iPhone autocorrects "amine" to "anime" and various words to "nyan"." The second one is particularly troubling

Yeah, over a few thousand pairings and no hope of stopping.

It could be worse you could become one of those people who starts shipping background characters who are never introduced .
