Sorceress is not in the game. Wizzard is the closest equivalent.

It's actually pretty good idea on your say 2nd or 3rd character. Assuming you've beaten Inferno, going hardcore is the only way to do a hard reset on the "skill" meter. Basically, if you beat it once on any softcore character, going in it again isn't proving much. It's effectively just "grind" since you know the game inside out now (more or less). Going in it hardcore, even on the same class you beat it on, well that's a different story. You don't even have to beat the game, just get as far up as you can...

Losing hardcore characters (esp when corpses are no longer lootable) is going to be a major heartbreak which I might not be ready to accept. Most likely wouldn't start one until I have everything memorized and thought out as well as class skills build into muscle memory.

It's been bugging me for a while, but why do people call them "Wizzard"? Is it because of Blizzard?

I see some people want to try their first character as hardcore, so they have a thrill of permanent dying without knowing what is waiting for them.
Well, I'm not trying that .

For me, my first character would be Witch Doctor, and next is probably a monk focus on healing, or Wizard.

Well....when one made a typo, then it's a typo, but when 3 people repeating that word, I thought it has to have some special meaning or something.

Still not as prevalent as how Diablo 1 had three classes: Warrior, Sorcerer, and Rouge.

I rmb my hammerdin having outrageous dps as well...

Monks with exploding palm, having its damage scale with mob health might make it amazingly powerful late game similar to corpse explosion.

Uh, are we talking Diablo 2 or Sacred?

I'm gonna play a DH but I'm worried smoke screen might become too overpowered later on. Datamining shows that total discipline can go up to 120, which is a lot of smoke screening.

For those who don't know, smoke screen makes you invisible, immune to damage, breaks all crowd control effects on your char, and also makes you immune to further crowd control effects. And you can still attack while under the duration of the skill. Seems like an ez mode button.

Where did you get that?
From what I see in the beta, it only makes you invisible, and any skill using or attacking will reveal you.

urg, NA servers come up at 12:00 PDT... I guess there is room for 2 hour nap between picking up a copy and starting the grind.

That was pretty good. Getting to see the angels in action here. Plus just shows how Diablo can really mess with people...or angels.
