Can someone explain me why is touma such a dumbass? the perfect opportunity just showed up, and bam! there goes his intelligence! haha i wanna know, if in the other chapters to come there are more of these moments? i love touma though

Because for Touma, every day is a bad day. And he's genuinely not amused with his harem of OVER NINE THOUSAND.

Also, since most of the members of his harem are superpowered magicians and espers, if he makes a move on just one of them, HE'S SCREWED. Even if he could cancel their powers, the formula still stays the same:

JEALOUSY + SUPERPOWERS = CARNAGE ENSUES.
