Well, nothing really to say here except that this was a really good begining. Funny enough, close to the original, but so... fast. Animation quality is good, but nothing more. Art style is classical J.C. Staff style.

In overall, I think that they adapted it good and funny, actually at least at this moment. I'll give 8 out of 10 : Very Good.

So far I'd say that it was an excellent introduction episode, with Ryujii's being already perfectly fleshed in the first minutes and nicely developped on the whole episode.

Excellent animation and voice acting.

Pacing was only a little fast, but nothing dramatic, so I'll give it a 10!

Not having read the manga or the light novels, I thought this series started out on the right track already. Likable characters, lots of funny moments and the promise of something interesting in the future. Guess I'll stick around for more.

Gotta love Taiga's roll-out moment, tho.

8/10. Great introduction to the 2 main characters, especially Ryuuji. The interesting concept with Ryuuji's character really hooked me onto this show.

From a purely anime stand-alone storytelling vantage - this was quite interesting and entertaining. Even before the first episode is over, the attentive viewer understands that Taiga may be crusty on the outside but creamy on the inside. Ryuuji follows in the more delightful path of male leads like the leads from REC, Moon Phase, SHnY, and such.

I understand the novels go into quite a lot more depth and less time compression and that the manga tends to follow the novel a bit more - so I figure those will make good reads after the series is well underway.

What does the parrot say when she smacks him over the head?
Im assuming its an accidental insult or something

Oh and... very funny. I cant believe its has gotten so few posts. It was hillarious. Almost every part was funny.

Oh and going by the voice....
Id say its the same voice actress that does Shana's voice from Shakugan no Shana. She even did the "Urusai! Urusai! Urusai!" thing she's famous for in that anime

It is the same VA.... that fact has also contributed to a lot of people immediately stereotyping or writing off the series erroneously. Taiga may be superficially similar at first glance to Shana or Louise but to me that's an incomplete reading.

Loved it. I gave it a 9/10... I dunno why I didn't give it a 10, but that's just how I rate... I rarely give things 10/10 even if I am often generous with ratings. ^^;

I found myself laughing or chuckling through most of this episode, and while I usually don't like the impatient, hard shelled, violent characters like Louise... I oddly found myself adoring Taiga. =P

Just starting watching, and it looks very promising. I just hope the story will be keep intact and not be over-flowed with useless plots and sorts.

Here's hoping.

Ryuji= awesome.

Well I finally decided to check out this series, I rather like it so far Taiga is pint sized whirlwind. I liked her rolling out of the locker. Ryuji is pretty cool too. Poor guy gets treated like a delinquent just based on looks.

Maybe you will be moved for the pure character of Taiga...
She was special for me,, I have not met such pure girl like Taiga in real life.
She is very anime character, never exist in real world...
