Perfect 10 ! Amazing ending ! But poor Tsugumi.

As the conclusion - this is a very good anime, starting as a comedy and ending like a good drama (but with funny moments in the end, of course). I really like it. If you want very interesting plot with really funny moments and the taste of drama in the last episodes - than grab it. I hope that there will be the second season.

Another highlight from this awesome episode:
Tsugumi: "Why is this child so unaware of its feelings?" (I believe the Japanese text here was gender-neutral, unless I overlook something.)
Tsugumi, later: "Why am I crying?"

Poor Tsugumi. We all sympathize with you, but you really need to be honest with your own feelings.

So what happened to the other nagi? i dident quite get what that was all about, both the one at the old tree and the one nagi turns into sometimes (like with the kittens)

10 from 10.

I expected much from this great series and this ending is, what i wanted.

The last couple minutes...

I thought, Jin would die, when he was lying above Nagi on the ground.

From my point of view, this anime is from the first to last episode a masterpiece.

Its kinda sad, that the series in on its end. I couldnt see it but on the slideshow(credits), im sure i made a kind of expression, like in the picture of Jin in this post.

Holy... so good.

Series was great, but the ending was blah for me. Actually, the final three episodes. WHY SO SERIOUS?!?

Jin just overall pissed me off in the latest arc with his typical-childish-behavior-trope and it sorta didn't help that the solution was the most cliche thing you can get. A dead grandma character to top it off.

Oh well, at least the exposition itself was done right and it was touching to see Nagi cry. Other than that, this show should've been 100% comedy or at least had the serious moments be less cliche.

Kannagi has easily gone past the profitable mark, you see plenty of series that sell 3k per volume that get sequel series, Drugua is getting a sequel next month, Vampire Knight, two ZnT series for another.
Well, except for ZnT, all the other examples you listed aren't sequel series, they're just 2-cour series with breaks in the middle. They basically already decided to produce the two seasons before the first one even aired; they're only split up that way for production reasons. The usual sales-driven logic is still the driving force behind true sequels (separate productions), but there can be other factors to consider in addition to DVD sales (for example, each Zero no Tsukaima season marks the release of a PS2 game).

The other thing is, it's not the anime studio that authorizes sequels, it's the producers/publishers/financiers. Sometimes the anime studios help finance the shows themselves and are part of the production committee (especially the bigger studios), but oftentimes they're just contracted to produce the show. So it's not necessarily a SHAFT thing or an A-1 thing. It's a production committee thing.

In any case, I can't really think of a reason why Aniplex and the other production partners wouldn't want to pursue a sequel if they're able.

Assuming you're talking about the lady who came to meet Jin and Nagi by the river, that was the spirit of the old granny Jin had met earlier (who said that she was grateful to Kannagi-sama for saving people who tried to hang themselves). The granny had died; that was her spirit. (Which is why Nagi was in a mourning dress, and they did the visitation right after.)

Message boards will probably read next something of like:

>Jin was caught forcing himself upon Nagi?
>That explains everything as to why she ran away.
>That wolf! I knew it all along!
>Someone said that the neighbors had heard glass breaking around that time too...

Well, I think there was 2 much drama on this final episode(for the first season! *crosses fingers for a second one*).
In my opinion i think Zange's song solved everything! I was like
+the make out messed up scene! Poor Tsugumi, that surely hurt
Kyaaaa!

I think in all sense and order, Jin will probably ultimately end up with Tsugumi, when and if Nagi regains her full divinity.

This was a really super ending of this anime!
Nagi was really cute, and the last scene... omg, i wish i could lie over Nagi as Jin!
Poor Tsugumi, but i laughed a lot of her reaction... that face... now i'm thinking of her, i smile.

My rate: 10/10

I started watching after i saw some pic from the anime ( i didn't really interested about this, 'awww, another school-life-boring series...'), and this show was a really good surprise!
Anyway i loved the anime so much, and i hope, there'll be a second series...

I'll see around, and buy a Nagi figure. I need her to my collection, i think.

Super ending? 10/10? are you people insane? That was like the cheapest scene ever to end the series with!

Oh but wait, that's what it's all about. Guess I'll just take Kannagi for what it is, give it a nice burial...yeah we won't be seeing any more of it! 7/10.
