Fans of Pretty Cure rejoice! Coming soon, it's
Pretty Cure on Ice! http://www.greenland.co.jp/ If anyone is in Kumamoto, Japan check it out. I guess it's just a show at a theme park though. Nagisa is a perfect match.... Honoka is not too bad either.

I too am a large fan of mahou shoujo, and I totally agree. This series SEEMS cliche, overdone, and trite from a basic description, but there is something about it that makes me love it, and I don't know what. I had a lot of fun watching the first episode (among friends) so I started to download the series. Many groups started subbing Pretty Cure and I think I chose the right one: ChiZeTo. The files are at good quality and the subtitles are very good to read. But unfortunately the've stopped subbing. Does anyone know why? I've downloaded the fifth episode from Miyuki no Tamari and was not as sattisfied as I'd been with the work of ChiZeTo. Can anyone recommend me a groups Pretty Cure fansubs with good quality and good to read subtitles? Does anyone know, why ChiZeTo don't resume work on Pretty Cure? Or are they just working on ep5? |

For those of us who don't read japanese could you clarify? Does this mean that Pretty Cure is recommended for a primary audience of boys of age 19-30 and girls of ages 4-9? That sounds totally wacked!

Representation of colors Blue: Main target audience (male) Red: Main target audience (female) Light Blue: Sub-target audience (male) Light Red: Sub-target audience (female) The bar graph Main target audience (male): ages 19~30 Sub-target audience (male): ages 16~18 & 31~35 Main target audience (female): ages 4~9 Sub-target audience (female): ages 10~12 What you get from this graph: This anime is made to catered towards young girls....and whether the animators had this mind is open to debate but, it is obvious that male otakus will watch this anime as well. |

Well according to the statistic, i think its true because im also part of side of cute lil girly anime fandom. However, i know im too old to watch anime of this kind, The reason love this anime is because of the character design more then the story it self.
I donno about the others out there cause im an animator and all i do is watching anime for the search of ideas. maybe the majority of the old guys in that stat are all animators. hehe.. the majority of japanese otakus are old males wich a job as Animator or mangaka. Actualy, ive never met a dude loving this kind of anime. mostly they are into mechas, monsters and black magic stuff but not in cute schoolatic bossoming girls with cute animals and magic transformation with flashy girlly outfits. The episodes are weekly. They're up to 30+ now. It's just that every fansub group died as they reached episode 10 or so. One group released 11, and that's it. No further fansubbed PreCure. I hope a group speedsubs episodes 12-30 just so we can see them (and understand them).

BF has been on a pause, cause Clem has been busy with his own projets...
tho he informed me that he can continue TLing it 'soon'... the series has alredy ended to my knowledge (I can be wrog tho) with 28 + 1 (29) episodes... hope we will get subs going again soon... for Shoujo and MnT I cannot tell why the heck they haven't continued... they seemed to have stopped when whe stopped, dunno why's that... |
