Does it *have* to have serious closure?

Can't some things just be light hearted through and through?

*misses Freakazoid*

"Hey Freakazoid, wanna go out for a mint?"
HUGBEES!

Well, only time will tell. But till now, seems that Bones has been quite abvious with Haruhi/Tamaki pairing. From what I've heard from others, they have been quite kind to Tamaki, in comparison to how he is potraited in the manga. Will tell u a bit more later on, once I get my hands on the mangas, they are on the way to me now from HK. Got till vol. 7.

Between Lunar, Solar and Doremi, which one is "best"? (I mean how do they compare in terms of picture quality & translation.)

*Following Lunar here. The quality seems good, the transation (from the few stuff that I understand) appears to be in the right place, in the overall, its a satisfactory fansub.
BTW, thanks Lunar.

This las t episode was hilarious as the previous.

I still can't decide if the twins scenes are fun to watch or just disturbing.

Exactly. I'm not keen on a serious ending given the state the manga is in. I mean, if this series is only going to be 13 or 26 and they keep on almost mimicking the manga chapters, the closure of auto-choosing a person for Haruhi would be upsetting given the developments in the later chapters.

That and I'm also fearing a Hana-Kimi ending in addition to the "WE MUST FORCE HARUHI TO BE WITH SOMEONE AND IT WILL BE TAMAMKI WHEN THERE ARE BETTER CHOICES" ending.

I haven't read the manga, so I think it's cute that they decided to have Haruhi and Tamaki be a central pairing. I don't know if the others are interested in her, but Tamaki's over-the-top love is really fun to watch. So if they DO end up together in the anime, I think it'll be really adorable so I won't complain. ^_^ After that I'll go read the manga to compare!

Hahaha, I must say I agree. Jeez, somehow they are soo fun and cute, but at the same time they disturb me.
I mean.. Twins? And the girls prefers them as "brotherly love"... And such a personality change as well whenever their clients are not around.

Still, I just love them. They are so funny. (And probably on of my favorite characters as well)

And Tamaki isn't exactly the smartest one. *laugh*
But I can't imagine Haruhi and Tamaki as lovey-dovey sweethearts. Not quite sure why though.

No I think...

It's not that I think it should have a serious ending. But I want closure. I don't want them to end with, "Thus end another typical day in Host Club members' life. The end.

Must remember that Bones can jumble up the sequence, not necessarily following the manga. Note ep. 2 and 3, it is not following the order of manga. Thus, all is up to Bones really.

quality wise I'd say lunar and solar for episode 1
doremi did translate "yusha" by warrior I think it means hero but i'm not sure
in episode 2 lunar was not really clear about the dance part "the best dancer get a kiss from tamaki " lunar used something I found not easy to understand doremi did better in that episode
for episode 3 lunar is the only one that released and I have no complaints about it

Well, this seems fun.

Tsubasa has 3 seasons, but I doubt a GOOD comedy can last that long. I mean, the first 3 episodes were full of it, and very good at it, too, but they can't naturally keep it up for another season. I don't think they can keep it up for 26 straight episodes.

I'd say Hachimitsu To Clover did a good job at it (very good job).
And in my opinion Azumanga Daioh as well (although there are many haters).

There are currently 38 episodes released manga wise. 39 should be out soon in Lala...

I wil still display my angst about Bones making the episodes more Tamaki-centric.. I don't want them sullying around with episode 5 and 11.

Well, I wasn't going to mention it since it wasn't shoujo or josei, but since you mentioned Azumanga Daioh .... Keroro Gunso has lasted over 100 episodes.

EDIT: I definitely think it can last two kur (and probably four), between lampooning shoujo and harem plots, there has to be 50 episodes worth of material.
