Dude, are u sure that is your first manga? Really good if u ask me. Although I am not an xpert. Have you seen how some sketches have hair covering parts of the face but these parts can be seen. maybe that would be a good idea?

Looks great, although i'd reccomend perhaps changing the eyes, but as for shading and crap like that, leave that for later

well, even if you do a sketch, leaving the parts of the face visible, dont they get covered up anyway when you color?

The drawing looks just a little too clean... methinks photoshop or some other painting app for the touches
