When/why did you start watching/reading Naruto?

i was in the BLEACH forum the other day and i saw one bout BLEACH(duh)
anyways for me in like 5th grade i subscribed to shonen jump and in each issue was a naruto chapter i thought naruto was stupid and a waste of pages then bout a year ago my friend came back from taiwan with the narutimate hero portable game and it was really fun so i decided to give the anime a chance and once i started i couldn't stop i remember sitting in front of the comp for bout a week just watching naruto

I first start watching when it aired in America on Cartoon Network so that was back in 2005 around September

Since the original anime began airing in Japan, one of my friends told me the manga was good so I started to follow it.

I 1st watched an a few epi's over a year ago & hated it (tsoe were the ones with jiraiya training). then about half a year ago started reading manga from the begining & then it kinda got stuck on me :/

anyway i seen a video of it...i dont remember where and i was like yoo this join is HAWT!! so then my friend was like he has all episodes..so he charged me money to burn the cd for me..so i had like episodes everyday..not knowing they were on youtubue..i paid him for the episodes...i was mad when i found out

When EP 1-6 was subbed, it was a long time ago. I thought it was hilarious and got all my friends watching it.

Around late last year on Jetix. They kept reaching the chuunin exams and repeating Naruto again from the start so I just watched the whole lot on youtube, took me a while to figure out that all episodes after 136 onwards had nothing to do with the story .

Does any1 here actually like the american version of Naruto. it is my favorite because i heard the voices there first, but all my friends hate it and love the japanese one.

i started watching when a few people told me it was good, at first i hated because people were saying it's better than DBZ . Then after awhile i started watching a few episode saw that amazing moment Sasuke vs Orochimaru in the forest of death then it all started. Hail Sasuke.
