Description from wikipedia:

Upon noticing the blast, Suigetsu hurries to the site and finds out that Sasuke had used Manda to escape the blast. Unable to survive, Manda dies from his wounds and Zetsu informs the remaining Akatsuki members of Deidara's death, Tobi being presumed deceased too. Naruto and the others get to the crater of the explosions, and using Kiba's tracking skills they begin to track down Sasuke's scent. Elsewhere,the leader of Akatsuki's name is revealed to be Pain. He and a blue-haired woman, Konan, are then ordered to capture the Nine-Tailed Jinchūriki by a mysterious man, who is revealed to be Tobi.

very nice. I found the reveal at the end even more satisfying than the manga version, and really impressed by ___'s voice. Sounds nothing like what I expected it to be.

The new music that played during the scene was excellent as well.

Soon one of my most looked forward to stories is coming up, getting excited! ^_^

Music at the end was nice.

This episode we find out

-Manda is now dead due to Sasuke using space transportation jutsu so Sasuke lived.
-Tobi is Uchiha Madara
-Pain is now going after Naruto (the leader)

The girl with purple hair has the same voice as Caster from Fate/stay Night, awesome voice

Preview for next episode looks like lots of talking :|

I guess names are not allowed to be said if they were not said in anime so... I really like akatsuki's female voice

Is much better than I expected! Now I hope to see those two(includes Pein) more often

Dude, we came back to canon just 10 episodes ago after a 24 episodes-long filler arc. There's no reason to be so concerned about fillers right now.
But to answer your question, there won't be any filler until the end of this arc, which according to rumors should be around january. Also according to rumors, we will go straight to the next canon arc when this one finishes.

This was a decent enough episode!!

The music was great and bears me asking yet again, when will the OST come out?!

Poor Manda :'-(
And Pain was awesome as always and the surprise at the end was righteous!!

I really do hope the fillers are gone for a while and we get some of the best fights of the series before they return...

He's not able to teleport, you know. So he summoned manda, got inside him and then unsummoned him to avoid the explosion.

He is mentioned when Sasuke enters Naruto's mind when he speaks to the Kyuubi. We don't really know much about him as of yet.

poor Manda " You had the nerve to use me, you controlled me with those eyes , i of all people" he has the same dignity as his master Orochimaru .. We can deduce from Manda's talk that he refused to work and cooperate with Sasuke.
unfortunately he cant use him again.

Yeah for kiba --> amazing sense he got, more powerful than ninja hounds

now the show is begain with Madara appearance and his order to Pain to capture Naruto
i feel like the coming episodes will be more than great ... i cant wait

Me too! I'm so waiting for them as well as for more screentime for Pein and Konan

I liked the ending of this episode. The music that was playing along with it was great.

Pain looks epic as well.

It's finally, maybe along time away finally, it's going to get good. But I sense some fillers coming.... ugh. They need to hurry and bring closure to this series.

The ending scene was just great but it makes absolutely zero sense.

It's like the mangaka got up one night and thought "yea let's fool every1 out there and see what happens".
Well, maybe he comes up with some explanation. I can't wait to know why Pain and Blugirl have "the true leader" (it seems like this at the end of the episode) a secret from the others and (much more important) why Tobi/Madara had to run around like the biggest fool on earth for like 100 episodes.

Spoiler for Tobi and Madara:

Well, i got a theory in my mind. Maybe there is Tobi, who died, and Madara who is playing Tobi from now on (we saw him putting on the mask and the cloak - another cloak,, with hood ya know). But even if that's the case, we end up with a big "just why?"
Looks like only time will reveal.

Overall slow but decent episode.
BTW I read we will see a special at last week of september.
