only my railgun hit #3 on the Oricon weeklies, with 25,714 copies sold. I would never have expected such great sales before the single's release, but I'm definitely glad the new fripSide is off to a strong start. The show just has to get a second OP if the tie-in can sell that much (yes, wishful thinking here).

It's a two-cour show under Geneon. Like Index, a second OP/ED was pretty much inevitable. Even if nothing's been formally announced yet.

on the other hand, I found that other track "late in autumn" really good as well.

Do they understand what they are singing in the English parts?

I was wondering what she sings in Only my Railgun, because I wished to sing along. Things goes smoothly in the Japanese phrases, and I know nothing about Japanese, and when the eigo portion comes, I just understand a few words! Seems so awkward!

I'm yet to see the meaning of this:
"Looking the blitz loop this planet to search way.
Only my Railgun can shoot it."

If someone knows what it means, please tell me. I'd be glad.

It's also weird to hide the subject in phrases like "Always be with you", which can be found in Dear My Friend. But that's not a big deal, because it was made for the Japanese and they do talk in this way and the lyrics are still fully understandable.

I may be complaining, but I liked these songs so much! These are in my favorites playlist, so I hear Dear My Friend and Only My Railgun many times, at home or even at the office, and I don't get tired of it =D

Sometimes I'll hear a Japanese song and they'll being singing English without me even noticing because I can't undeerstand their accent when they sing English.

Although most of the time I will hear the Engrish correctly.

Yes, the same for me. Engrish is easier to understand then their English accent.

I think its because they are not used to it. It must be difficult, since the sounds are very different.

During my earlier English classes, I was horrible with "th"(think) and "rl" (girl)... T.T
It was like my tongue wasn't obeying, it took lots of effort to master it, the same occurred with the pace and accent.

It must be 4x more difficult if the person is from japan. My grandfather just can't pronounce the "L" and "s".

yeah... English is kinda hard.

It's one of those times when the English kinda means what it says.

fripside can be flipside due to r = l thing in engrish.
