Loaded the game, never bring them into battle again, will be a long while let them wait outside the dungeons/ towers, just to carry the items (before crafting the carrying weight accessories and can leave them home for good) Cleared the game once, and still waiting for new mod, with new mechanism or new playing style that i can try on. Did stealth dagger + bow last time, and don't think Magic will be able to handle the Insane/ hardest level

How to you make a bard in Skyrim? Apparently one-handed perks and use of a shield. Do you put some perks in restoration, as well, and speechcraft? How else does one create a bard in Skyrim?
With my vagabond Nord woman I want to play as, I just can't decide between one-handed axe and mace, so I think I'll use both. Which is better between the two when you put the right perks into them? The one with three levels for one-handed axes and the one with three levels for mace. Which is faster for swinging? One-handed axes or maces? And then I have to figure out how I'll heal myself. I was thinking of putting some perks into restoration. I don't know how I'll actually make money. I don't plan to put perks into enchanting with her, and I dunno if I'll put any or much perks into alchemy for her. I could put several perks into smithing for the sake of making items to sell. Definitely won't be as good as the money you can make with alchemy, but it'd be better than nothing.

However, without DLC at *some* point I will have done every thing there is to do. Unless we see more fan additions (some modders are working on new content), at some point its time to put the game away for a while. Quote:
There are musical instrument artifacts, but to my knowledge there's no "play music" or spells related to music. I haven't seen a mod that creates such a class.... there are mods that let you take a bard as a follower. Have I missed some game functionality?

Still, Skyrim's gotta be one of the only games that has been hyped up so much and had actually lived up to all of the anticipations and past that. Since I'm a cheapass, I've been borrowing my roommate's copy, but even now I have him sneaking into my room in the morning to take it back to play because I stayed up all night playing it and forgot to return it. xD

Ah, I bet it just got left in the wind a bit as the budget wore away... no point in having a "bard's college" if there isn't any "barding" a player can do really.

Someone has put a few mods up for female human characters to let them sound like a tsundere. Its actually quite amusing as a change of pace (particularly the lockpicking noises she makes as she fails or succeeds). One of the shouts is a "baaaaaaaka" (yes, its stupid but it never fails to make me chuckle) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11536 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=11781 http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=12865

I liked the bard quests, for the rewards. When you're high level, additional skill points are nice. The stories were nice enough, I guess, but by the time I even got to the college, I already had two of the items in my inventory...

eyah, my assassin went through the bard school (tho she's trying to kill the Emperor now) - I enjoyed the quests, just seemed like spellsinging or even just instrument playing would have been a character feature.
