ep.10

Yep another Midori focus episode, glad there was a decent screen time for Shiori as well 2 of my fav girls in Tamako Market. Mochizou knows martial arts? lol funny scene caught me off guard again

Midori having problems and getting stressed is quite normal for people, aw when she cried I wanna hug her too like Tamako did. So sweet off these friends to be supportive, man pride can sometimes be a hassle, it's part of a teenage life I saw here where Midori learns to tell others she can't do it alone, rather than biting off more than someone can chew. Also seems Midori and Mochizou are no longer awkward to each other since he knew she was sick, but anyways we all know they're friends and little arguments and things like that don't let it get in the way.

Overall another excellent episode with a good, but predictable cliffhanger 9/10

And to top it off the assistant ADs were from ep 8 and 9's.....

What's going on KyoAni?

Is this just because of the short performance or what...

I thought it was more fluid than usual.

Schedule is catching up to them. This is their second longest run after all with 4 seasons of continuously airing stuff.
The episode did have some more stills and BG shots than usual, and my hunch is that the storyboard had to accommodate a bit of these problems because it was, at some parts, deliberately tricky in a way that I'm not sure benefited the episode.

Isn't that simply because they're in the same class? He didn't talk to her or anything. He noticed she was absent and heard (from whom?) she was sick with a fever.

Yeah, I believe Midori and Mochizou are just apathetic towards each other (especially Midori, who likes to pull off the cool, unconcerned act) . They are neither friends or enemies. The only reason they're even aware of the other's existence is because they both know Tamako. Which is actually a pretty common decpition of real life acquaintances. The friend of my friend is not really my friend.

It's funny how this contrasts with the creepily nice and sugary sweet relationship most everyone else has with each other on the show. This is probably one of the reasons some people ship them: it's such an unlikely pairing.

I personally only ship MidoriXMochi as it's my lifeboat if ever MochiXTamako is sunk in canon.

Which the latest episode seems intent on doing... but man, that future MochiXTamako comic was so adorable I don't want no prince to steal Tamako away.

Unless Choi's prince is willing to relocate his court to the shopping district I don't see any future for him and Tamako. As someone pointed out a while ago, Michizou's first name is "Ouji", which means prince so maybe that explains the signals Choi is receiving from Tamako.

The best possible ending is Midori x Tamako and Mochizou x Prince. Full homo end!

Mochizou x Tamako (with possible a ménage à trois with Midori, that's as close to your dreadful Midori x Mochizou I'm willing to go) and Prince x Choi is also acceptable.
