Seishin T_T Seriously as soon as Tatsumi told Seishin about how Sunako sleeps my first thought was he's gonna kill her. I hope Im right. Of course does he have the strength. Im kinda disappointed he chose to feed Tatsumi...but I see why he did it.

As much as I dont care for Megumi Im glad she's continues to put Masao in his place. Her screaming about what he would do if they run away was hilarious since it went from where will we find during the day to can you drive?

I so cant wait for when she finally sees Natsuno

The covers are just amazing

But yeah... Seishin is going to be on a neutral party and not take part in any of this. Possibly leaving the doctor because he will eventually drive him into crazy thoughts about killing vampires, so he fled to the Kirishikis so that he can attempt to remain as a neutral party as much as possible. But when the villagers find him and Sunako in their hiding place.. I wonder what the junior monk is going to do then.

He has a pulse, body heat, and doesn't burn in sunlight, I'm sure he'll be OK. He didn't have a local funeral procession and it didn't seem like people knew a lot about what was up with him.. could just make up some excuse I imagine.

Ep 20, the humans continue hunting Shiki. They run into a couple of problems due to a sniper, and hypnotized humans used as assasains

I would go as far as to say that this weeks episode was quite possibly the most heaviest to watch so far. Scene after scene, it just kept getting worse. The coin has completely done a 180, and you can't help but feel sorry for the Shiki. That truly is signs of brilliant writing when you end up caring so much for both sides. Truly brilliant.

I guess we should have seen it coming that Seishirou is in fact human. That's rather incredible on it's own..

We shouldn't be surprised on how the humans are acting, even wanting to kill humans that having something to do with the Shiki. There really is no turning back from this situation.

Ritsuko is amazing, absolutely amazing. We knew before hand as to why she didn't want to drink any blood, though we get a full on explanation here, with so many tears. What's so brilliant about that whole scene is having Toru a part of it, because we already know how he feels about the situation, though he ended up breaking because he didn't want to die, though there infront of him he's seeing Ritsuko, easily doing what he tried so hard to do. There final scene where they were sat together was so heart wrenching.

Sunako's scene towards the end of the episode was without a doubt the most painful to watch. To actually hear how much she's frightened about dying was so hard. After seeing such a scene, it's impossible to actually picture how this story is going to end. All i know is that there's going to be a lot more tears. A lot more.

The plot is just amazing. I almost felt sorry for those garbages a bit.

We've clearly seen Shiki that are not like that at all. And those that are just want to live. That's not to say killing them is wrong, but it should make you think. Personally I think it's the same as war. Making the most out of a really fucked up situation.

I suppose killing them is the only option at this point, I wonder if at some point there could've been a negotiation and research is poured into possibly finding a cure for Shiki or making them into daywalkers.

The liquor-store owner's son refused to let the old guy be shot when he and Kurishiki rode into the shrine. His brutal old father was perfectly willing to kill him, however. Who are we supposed to sympathize with, again? We are being shown that there is just about no difference between the humans and the shiki. Are we all shiki, in some way? Is that why I sympathize with the shiki rather than the humans?

Non non, in the first place, you are not alive.
Second, humans hunt stuff that can't fight back and defeat them. We can kill as much animals as we want because we know they can't rebel and kill us all. On the other hand, humans can take out the Shiki and yet you tried to aggravate them. Talk about reckless. Take some lessons from other vampires in other anime and get some blood packs. Or maybe everything would have been different if you stopped attacking and moved away after a few attacks. Not that it matters now though, hahahahaha. Bah-bye.

Shiki: Stop! Stop!
Me: Eh~? What? How many people that you killed say the same thing, eh? Why didn't you stop for them? Why should we stop for you?


Anyways, anyways, another great and tense episode. A whole lot more Shiki exterminated (unfortunately, off-screen) is of-course a refreshing thing.
Ricchan... What an angel... From the way the screen faded out to white, I wonder if both died...? Not sure how Tooru died though, assuming he did here.

And so the villagers start to lose control of themselves...
Though seriously, couldn't the great Beard (poor guy @his son's punishment) take down the Shiki by himself? He doesn't even need a hammer! A swing, and BAM!

Kaori didn't appear... I wonder if she managed to take out her father...

I don't think that we are suppose to be sympathizing with Kurishiki. Hanging around the shiki so that he could become a shiki and victimize others is plain sick. He definitely what people would call a collaborator. Those involuntarily turned and still not wanting to kill deserve some sympathy but in the end it's me or them and I won't die easily.

Now that old guy's son is just stupid. He killed the doc's mother and stayed in the clinic to be found. He deserved what he got.

The hypnotized humans are prob the only ones that are going to deserve sympathy as they are innocents that are going to be slaughtered. They are caught in the crossfire.

So overall no sympathy for the Shiki except for Ri-chan. They're getting what they deserve.

Villagers have all gone "blood-thirsty", they keep killing all the Shiki they can find, they also take it to another level and want to cut heads off after stabbing the stake.

Ookawa is crazy, wouldn't want him for a father, took out his own son in such a brutal way, it was a nice touch when they showed his bloody tears.

Mr. Kirishiki still out for his revenge but gets stopped by Natsuno, but then we don't know what happened at after that, don't think Natsuno would die from a gun shot, so the reason Mr. K joined the Shiki was because he was oppressed as a child and wanted to become the victimizer as payback, also Sunako worries about him so much because he was one of the few humans that accepted her as a Shiki.

Ritsuko struggling was tough to watch, nice how she tried to free her friend, surprised Toru let her go, in the end when they were back together was a nice scene.

I think the villagers have to change their clothes, it just looks nasty, seems like they don't mind being covered in all that blood.

Sunako's scene was the best part of the ep for me, felt so sad for her, since she still has a child's mentality its no wonder why she's so sad of dying, starting to feel for the Shiki just beause of her.

At the end the villagers crossed the line that Toshio warned about, they are now killing humans as well, no turning back for them now, probably worse than the Shikis now

Well during ep 19 you see him outside the clinic, so he was definitely going to do something stupid, but Tatsumi said that it was almost sunrise, so it wasn't his fault for staying in there, he just didn't have an option, that's why he went into the dark of the closet, but i agree that he should have tried a better place to hind and not leave footprints.

I agree that the hypnotized deserve sympathy, but it's also kind of their fault because they didn't join in on the "fun", but they should have at least tried to keep themselves safe from the Shiki after realizing what was happening to the village, I guess the villagers didn't have an option but to kill them aswell because there isn't a way to stop the hypnotism, so they would continue to attack the villagers
