the big complaint IMO for this movie is definitely the excessive beam-spamming... agh. why couldn't ELS be super strong individually instead of just overwhelming numbers...
okay so besides that i found the movie to be quite good. at least it gives me a bit more hope for 00 after how bad the last 5 episodes of the 2nd season was.

Kinda sad we didn't get to see Hallelujah/Harute go one-on-one with another MS though. Freaking epic MS + insane hax pilot = Win. |

Anyways I enjoyed the movie. Think it was different to have such a faceless enemy. Also some questions at the end of the movie about what the characters are up to. Was Setsuna just going back and forth acting as a middleman? Did Tieria download to a new body after that confession from Mileina? Did someone eventually find Patrick floating around in space ? Just some things like that.
The action was plenty of fun to watch. It was a lot of beam spamming, but considering the nature of the enemy it made sense to take that kind of appraoch. Besides had to admit they definitely gave Lyle and Allelujah some crazy firepower for this one. Tieria did show up with an interesting unit though it certainly didn't hang around for very long. Can't say too much about Setsuna since he refused to shoot for most of the movie. Was nice to see so many characters and what they were up to. Had a proper limited role with Saji and Louise since neither of them should be on a battlefield again. Good to see that they are slowly making progress though of course Louise has had a long road to recovery. Seems like Billy is doing alright. Though I'd love to figure out what was up with the Mina girl. Certainly a bit of a Nena lookalike though obviously she isn't coming back from what happened in season 2. Really some entertaining moments. Did like Hallelujah vs the cars .

We do know that special screening will come up some time later though, that though has some extra footage. Movies do cuts all the time, and it doesn't necessrily mean it would be included in the home release

Talk about disappointment.
Aliens do not belong in Gundam. Sumeragi & Feldt are better with long hair. Billy is a pansy. Tieria makes a bad cricket. Marie just gives moral support in the cockpit. This was such a waste of potential. So sad. But, I'll leave it at that since it'll be a broken record soon enough (or is it already).

So what happened in the end there? How did Setsuna stop them? He agreed to go to their planet and learn about them? So that was all that was needed to stop them? We can't communicate with each other, so let's kill each other, but since now we can communicate, let's all be friends?
So in the epilogue, did Setsuna become one of them, since he is all silver now, or was that his final evolved form? The ending was really confusing, and made little sense to me, except for the "let's all be friends" message.
