The 3rd episode was definetly great, at least from the 60% of what I understood in the RAW.
Much funnier than previous episodes, however I thought it didn't have as big of a "hook" as the other 2 towards the end of the episode.
I laughed a lot more though.

I'm trying to avoid watching the raws for this show while waiting for the subs but it's so tempting. Please tell me that ep. 4 is 'ko akuma' mayhem? I've been really patient waiting for the twins debut.

After seeing them replace Hunny's kick scene with Tamaki, I'm getting afraid that all the beautiful non-twincest twin scenes will be altered.

I don't think so... they are simplfying the story but a love story is not a love story without good rivals. =P

Lmao ep 3 was pretty hilarious. The part wen Tamaki calls everyone else the "homo side characters", that was pretty damn funny. Omg the part where Tamaki tries to impersonate Haruhi it was so obvious then Haruhi gives Tamaki the evil eye was so damn funny. Man this show is too awsome.

Yeah, episode 3 had me laughing out loud almost constantly; it was definitely a lot better than episode 2. I'm almost certain I'm going to end up buying the R2s for this show.

Does the kite represent Haruhi's feelings in some way? It seems to soar up when she's happy and down when she's mad.

I thought something similar, although in my case I figured that it represented her respect for Tamaki... since it seemed to go down whenever he did something typically stupid and back up when he redeemed himself by saying something with more meaning.

I thought that too. Maybe the kite rappresents her interest in Tamaki: when he's surprising her by showing how mature he can be it goes high in the sky, when he does something really stupid it goes down

I didn't really get it until episode 3. Good show. I think the kite did represent her respect for the weirdly lovable/admirable, and somewhat Morita-like, Tamaki.

You're right. *sigh* I guess I have to wait until ep. 5. At least I'm enjoying the ride until I get there. I'm hoping Renge will be somewhat less annoying than she was in the manga.

As for ep. 3, I love what they did for it and the little changes they've made in the anime. It really shows they're putting a lot of work into the series. I like how Haruhi folded when they told her she wouldn't get a chance to eat fatty tuna if she hasn't in the Host Club. In the manga, she argued back saying she wouldn't miss what she never had and the scene lost some of it's funny that way. Having Haruhi just cave gave it the right touch of humor.

I do disagree about Tamaki doing the kick, though.

Although hearing him say "Tama-chan Kick!" was really adorable as was the sentai-like intros and poses the Host Club sported. The whole scene was a laugh riot.

However, Tamaki ties them up and says how could they say such a thing because that would mean Mori and Honey would graduate. Of course in the manga the mangaka says they will not be promoting in grades. The other change is when Tamaki jumps on Haruhi in the end the two twins yell out pervert and tie him up this time. When both these times happen the twins and Tamaki dress up in traditional japanese play costumes. Why did they change from Honey to Tamaki? Was it supposed to be more romantic that way?
