This episode was awesome even though I thought they could have done the goats coming down the hall scene better. I'll give a 10 for Beato's crazy one eye face.

I hope they do 2 more episodes for this arc since there is too much material left to fit into one episode. I'm worried about where this episode ended...

WHAT IF THERE IS ONLY 13 EPISODES FOR THE WHOLE SEASON???

all I can say is Beelzebub's voice and appearance was good in this episode.

Gohda points +10 as well

EDIT: I just need to read more carefully... Seems that they got production problems so the preview is late.. I wonder what that means...

now the question being: how's Kinzo doing? Just enjoying his drink while waiting for the ordeal to finish?Genji stayed behind made him a little bit more suspicious. If the trend continues we will find Gohda+George+Shannon's body in Natsuhi's room, and possibly Genji's body in the Kitchen. Then the ritual will be complete and Grandpa will be happy. Or unless Genji is alive and Kinzo found dead~

Piece-Battler believing Beatrice had my jaws dropped, then I realised that it's Meta-Battler's belief that matters. But yeah, is it true that the tea party in EP2 will be extremely gory?
After seen too many fanarts, will be looking forward to the
Spoiler:

I love it when they put in 90sec of WorldEndDominator, that scene just change my perception of that track to an extreme sense of urgency.
I'd been wondering, if it's not witches' doing, where did those stakes come from?? They look to be quite big to be carrying around on in the airport, not to mention that the security will be quite concerned about bringing weapons onto the plane. Therefore it's either from Kinzo's study or Krauss has got another of his little secret locked room that stocks those stakes.

Personally an excellently done episode:

The Bad:

1. Yep the end. A bit of a odd event to end the episode with, which is probably more due to the good pacing of the episode and the lead in to the next one, the final one (?) for this arc.

2. Are Shannon's boobs getting bigger?

The Good:

1. For the first time, very good and consistent animation through the episode. And I thought DEEN didn't know the meaning of quality checks.

2. And yes, I'll echo the great voice acting here for Gohda, Beelzebub, Rosa and Battler. Only Daisuke Ono can make screams of despair sound so manly. Especially that tone change for Beelzebub, despite only having 2 lines.

3. Yay for WorldEndDominator. Too bad it was a bit too subdued at the end, but thankfully it ended up getting used.

----------------

I'm not particularly worried about the next episode actually. It doesn't exactly mean it'll be compressed to hell, they can cut out a few scenes here and there, and you can still have maybe some of the metaworld in episode 12.

Don't know what you've seen but I wonder if it'll be exaggerated like it was with Kanon. Anyway that should be nothing compared to
Spoiler for slightly about ep4, no names:

And yeah, with Kinzo having so much occult stuff around it'd be no wonder to find a few stakes.

About the episode, a few things caught my attention

1.Voice acting
Battler's scream was quite good for once
Beato's laugh is getting much better than I ever imagined
Gohda, Rosa and Beelzebub did great

2. Pacing
It felt like it was going a bit slower than usually. It's not bad but it should at least have covered that Natsuhi's room scene imo

Guys, stop talking about stuff that hasn't happened yet. It's not allowed, even in spoilers. You know that!

I decided to give this episode a 10. I was really pleased with it in the end. I'm nervous about the pacing for the next episode, but I wasn't going to let that affect my assessment of this one. Yeah, there are a few things here and there I would personally have done differently, but I think they did a great job overall. The end was especially wonderful. Hurray for Magical Gohda Chef! And I was also extremely impressed by Beelzebub's single line, I have to admit. OSHIMAI!

Can't get enough of Gohda. Need more Gohda love.
Also I loved the ending part, as well as the good usage of Worldend dominator. Again, feels like it's going in lightning speed, but it can't be helped.

I gave it a 10. So far, only ep5 and ep10 got 10's from me. ^^

What the heck was up with that random commercial in the gg sub...

Anyway it was a pretty exciting episode. I'm surprised Shannon didn't try to talk to Beatrice in the chapel, since (from Shannon's point of view) they were on good terms. It's also odd how the new Battler breaks down and acknowledges Beatrice's power, while the original Battler, who's witnessed more seemingly impossible events than his replacement, still refuses to give in.

They weren't on good terms anymore, in a previous episode Kanon told Shannon about what Beatrice was really doing, and Shannon from then on decided to defy the witch and act as she wanted.

Also, judging from Beato's personality... Shannon probably knew it'd be useless to try and talk to her anyway.

Edit: But yeah... that commercial caught be off guard. ^^;

Not bad, not bad at all! This episode was very nicely done, still the usual studio Deen standard but it did work nice in the end. I think all the important things were kept. I loved how Gohda acted in this episode, I loved that tender scene between Battler and Maria and I very appreciated that they raised the volume of worldenddominator in that small timeframe were no one was talking. Too bad it was very brief, but I can still appreciate the effort.

Just one thing, I didn't remember at all that they opened the chapel's door from the inside, now I'm confused. What happened to the it is impossible to lock and unlock the door to the chapel without the chapel's key?

I guess Beatrice should have added "from the outside".

They did exit through the door in the VN. They had come through a broken window, but it was difficult to get through without carefully finding your footing. When they were running away from the butterflies, they didn't have time to find their footing, so they went through the door. Most entry doors can be unlocked from the inside without a key, they just can't be locked up again afterwards.
