Yes you can kick an Aestivalis and break a leg.

If Moonlight Butterfly is believed to not even capable of harming an Aestivalis, theres nothing much left in the Gundam universe that can take down an Aestivalis.

One last hope would be the super robot Gundam Fighters, but they probably won't stand a chance against Boson Jumpers.

Moonlight Butterfly can easily break the distortion barrier, its actually mentioned Distortion Field is weak to physical weapons, it mainly protects against beams and gravity weapons and only offers small protection against physical weapons and virtually none against high velocity and normal impact weapons.

Turn-A happens to pack a high velocity nanomachine cannon......besides the MB.....most people forget the Nanomachine Cannon and also that Turn-A can ALSO do the Shining Finger Sword from G-Gundam and the fact MB can have both physical and beam properties along with a immediate effect radius of several miles. Its pretty much why its so ungodly powerful.

Black Serena though is something nothing short of Turn-X can stand up to.......Turn-A would be susceptible to the sudden Boson Jumps. But Turn-X has the ability to seperate into several parts, catching it is alone a incredible feat.

This just brings the argument back to the point where we're comparing Aestivalis to all MS except Turn A/X lol

Actually if the pilot knows Boson Jumping he can escape, just that class A jumpers have full control over it. They can jump at will and can decide their jumping destination.

Remember, as powerful as Twin Satillite Cannon is, DX is stuck standing in one spot for 4.8 seconds waiting for the microwave beam to charge up the cannon.

We don't really need the Black Selena/Sarena for Boson Jumping. It is Boson Jump capable because Akito is an A class Jumper.

Akito Jumped his original Aestivalis and even the Nadesico several times.

The pilots themselves can jump, they can probably jump into the cockpits of MSes and bring them out into space killing them as they do not have the body to withstand the stress of Jumping.

Really? I remember that in all cases they either had to use a Chulip, Chulip Crystals or a craft with a Boson Generator, an A-class jumper can only jump if they are in a Boson field.

You know Akito himself was able to Boson jump right from the start of the show to somewhere on Earth because he had the crystal necklace.

And like Village_Idiot said, by the time of Prince of Darkness the solar system has been seeded with Boson Jump Gates.

So yea individual humans can Boson Jump.

That's not what I mean, Black Serena can only jump because it has a Boson Generator, without it can't jump. If a pilot only jumps himeself to a place without a field, say a MS cockpit he'd be stuck there.

I put mobile suits because I have never even heard of this other anime but will watch it to see if my vote was accurate.

To go off topic IMO the best series is Victory Gundam. You never knew who was going to die and when they did it was suprising and sad. Plus I like the way the V2 looks with its Wings of Light.

Maybe it's a good idea to start that Macross vs. Gundam thread. I'll wait until this thread goes down. It may be a bad idea to put up another poll, though.

Nadesico technology is far superior to Gundam technology. That's why Gundam fails even with its superior (imo) pilots and whatnot.

Well, pilot ability is well portrayed in the Gundam multiverse and pilots need training and getting used to cockpit controls to get better.

The IFS system in Nadesico makes piloting much more easy. Controlling via the brain and nervous system, a highly efficient piloting system. Its another technology that's near super robot territory.
