when i heard rebecca voice for the first time.. nostalgia is hitting me and well it force me to find who is her seiyu.. i was amaze when i discover it was megumi

Oh wow, Rebecca has pink hair? I didn't even know that. I've always pictured her as a blonde. I loved Jesus Burgess in this episode. Happy store! And yes, the pacing isn't that bad at the moment.

I'm not really sure what the reason is, but I do remember seeing the Paralympics (formally known as the Special Olympics).

Have to say watching this show in 5 episode bursts is really the only way to do it now

At least things didn't feel as long that way. The barrier guy is pretty tough to deal with. Seems like the most powerful attacks won't easily reach that guy. Even attacks from behind don't seem that effective. Curious to see how Luffy might deal with that.

Have to give Sanji's stubbornness credit. There's no doubt a woman is going to kill him someday, but still hold his stance until that point. Luckily he doesn't seem to be completely off when it comes to Violet. Curious to see where things will go there.

And thank god for Zoro he's picked up his own Navi

. Might actually get where he needs to be.

What an impressive ark this is. I haven't been so hooked to the series since the Great war ark! Question: With the current anime pace, will we reach the manga or is it now 1 anime episode per chapter? I really hate fillers and I prefer the snail pace...

Oda takes breaks every month, so the anime is bound to catch up if things stay like this. There's every reason to expect a lot of fillers.

It's pretty amazing Zoro was still after that thief. Seems like all of them had some kind of trouble coming their way. This episode was too chopped up. Just had too many jumps from scene to scene. Bellamy, Bartolomeo & King were the only real competition. Well, at least for this round. Everyone else was just cannon fodder. So the fun has finally started, nice ^^ Can't wait to see Luffy fight. #637 Spoiler for plot: Luffy's cover got somewhat blown. That Don Chinjao is the last thing he needed. "Grandpa" sure made things complicated. Meanwhile, interesting things were happening in the arena. Is it just me or are there a lot of new characters? Most of them are crazy strong and dangerous. I think his ability is to reverse the opponents attacks. The harder they punch Bartolomeo, more hurt they get. Boxer guy sure packed a punch, impressive. Guess it wasn't enough to take out my fav! Awesome episode!! First round is over. Next time, hopefully, a new round will start. #639 Spoiler for plot: The fighting fish sure were scary and persistent. Caesar was actually pretty useful this time. I was genuinely surprised. Law totally knew how to put him to good use LOL Their advance was rather quick too. That island looks like a mysterious place full of secrets. Sanji was impressive as well, but got himself in unexpected trouble. This episode was more about all the other characters. Luffy got a break from the spotlight. #640 Spoiler for plot: Little island adventure just got way more interesting. Those Marines are like a plague. They keep popping out in the weirdest places. Zoro finally caught his little thief. Guess they're people from that weird island. They're kinda cute too ^^ but crazy strong! At least he got some vital info. Violet sure did a number on Sanji. At least now Sanji knows vital info. Still, it's hard to believe this is all just a giant trap. Doubt Violet would lie about that at this point. It's even Luffy's time to shine in the Arena.
