Ah, Kitsune, it's good to know that some blogger gives Ristorante Paradiso the attention it deserves.

I seem to be the only person who dislikes the OP so far. I think it's unfortunate how obvious the anime's low budget is, but I think that is okay so far since the faces look good. And Claudio... he is damn good-looking, I think.

For some strange reason, the characters´visual design/style reminds me of Lovely Complex.

Am I completely off on that or just way off?

Apparently, this shouldn't be unaired anymore since I've already seen it With subs to boot.

i get the feeling that animesuki doesn't recognise a show as subbed if it is subbed by "them"

Only thing with the show is that I have this hatred of young girls ending with "Ojisan".

You mean middle-aged dashing "ojisan". Actually, I think he might even be older than middle-aged lol But I guess I'm one to talk. I think Claudio, even in his old age, looks much better than her mom's rugged middle-aged boyfriend.

they are all in their 40s. I think the only one in his 50s is the one with a grandchild. Still, all of them could be nicoletta's father.

Don't watch Nijuu Mensou no Musume, then, you'll hate it!

As a guy pushing 60 who wears glasses (real ones; I've needed them since i was six), I can't help but watch this show. I'm quite curious what the fetish with the glasses is about. I've never thought of them as enhancing my already quite impressive physical appeal, but apparently they're a turn-on for some women. Not Olga, though. I have a thing about responsibility to your kids.

I admit to having a thing for meganekko characters though, so maybe there's more to glasses than meets the eye?

Really? That's different from what I originally heard. How goes the romance in there?

Watched the first two episodes, it's basically Antique Bakery meets Bambino (well a bit at least) excellent music (sounds a bit a like Aria) and loved the visuals as well. Although I have to admit I don't like the idea of young woman/old male couple, guess I'm too young to enjoy that.

Ooh. A potential May-December affair? That's hot not something you see quite often, in anime at least. Interested to see where that point is going, as well as Nicoletta's relationship (or lackthereof) with her absentee mother.

Quite true. I've been searching for May-December pairings for quite some time, with no luck, so imagine my utter surprise (and delight) when I found the anime and saw all the staples that'll make up a good romance story!

One of the members of the Choro Club (team who worked on the score for Aria) is doing the score for this series. Makes sense.

Heh I knew it, I wanted to be sure (I checked ANN but the person doing the music hasn't been listed yet) thanks.

No, they're considerably older than that.

This is the age chart from Erotics F issue 39.

Spoiler for Rispara Ages:

There doesn't seem to be a huge difference in age between Claudio/Vito/Furio - all mid-to-late fifties. BTW, Vito already has a college-age lover (Marina). It'll be interesting to see if they adapt that storyline for the anime. They're ridiculously cute being fitness freaks together~.

Ah thanks. I was wondering to myself when watching this the age of the characters, and was surprised that it wasn't mentioned in the first two episodes.

& yeah i said i was gonna marathon this show at a later date, though watching the second episode has me not wanted to wait any longer for the next episode.
