They should remake all of the Ikkitousen series into just one long anime

You realize this thread could go on and on and on... because of all our fan biases

My number one remake though is Rosario + Vampire... first season was almost good (and naturally the ending was completely ruined), and the second season just failed miserably.

but as I said, depending on who's a fan of what manga series, the list of animes-that-should-get-remakes could go on for practically forerver

I hope that the new series Dragon Ball Hoshi will remake Dragon Ball GT and Dragon Ball AF by having a completely different plot and new designs of Super Saiyan 4 and 5. Toriyama is in charge of scenario while Ohashi is in charge of character design.

I think that's a hard one to do since the first 20 episodes were actually adapted quite well. Similar situation to Blue Exorcist, A-1 Pictures adapted a lot of it very close to the manga and than went off and did their own thing. Remakes of Claymore and AnE are going to be very similar to the existing projects for a significant amount of episodes, it's not even like FMA Brotherhood which had a lot of clear differences and cut out a lot of filler (and they rushed through that material anyway).

The entire Negima series (or even large parts of it)... AFTER... the manga ends (I suppose). And let SHAFT handle production. Given the length of the manga, the anime will have to truncate major parts of the series.

Agreed ... although to be honest I would not mind a huge pile of eps from this one as long as they stayed faithful to the manga.

I also fifth or sixth (or whatever number it is now) Fruits Basket. I would actually like a nice, long series for that one too as long as it stayed faithful to the excellent manga.

And Yumekui Merry ... a shame. Overall very good except the last few eps that suddenly veered away.

Yu-Gi-Oh!
The original anime makes Yu-Gi-Oh!'s whole point is all about playing cards. That is SO WRONG

. Not to mention there's a filler arc that made playing cards as the ONLY method to save the world (no matter how stupid that sounds

). In the manga, that card-game is (originally) used only in two arcs. Also, Yugi was playing to win the prize that can help him regain his lost memories as a pharaoh, not to save the world.

BTW, the animation of the anime sucks too.

I hope that Mayoi Neko Overrun! gets remake because the anime was pretty rushed (only the first three episodes were faithful to the novel) and contains a lot of fillers for episodes 4 to 8. Fortunately, starting with episode 9, they restart the faithfulness of the novel chapters into anime.

Love Hina, I would LOVE to see a full remake of this. Anime had left way too many things out. I want more of Motoko T.T

Claymore, wouldn't mind to see the manga material animated.

Soul Eater anime ending sucks and I want to see Medusa with her new looks.

GTO, same as Love Hina, I want a full version and not shortened one.

Wouldn't mind to see proper Negima adaption.

Not exactly a remake but I want second season for Ghost Hunt and 07-Ghost.

And I would love to see Hakuouki and Fate/Stay Night with alternative stories.

And as a bonus I want for Sunrise to make its fake Mai HiME trailer a real deal. Be it movie or series =/

Yes, I wouldn't mind seeing a proper remake of Negima as well. The only reason I was able to enjoy Xebec's(sp?) disaster was because of the DUB actors. They all did the British accents and were so much fun to listen to. The dubbed script was a lot more amusing as well.

Like this classic scene:

Japanese
Asuna: Did you see!? (referring to her pantsu)
Negi: No! I didn't see any bears or anything!
Asuna: *grabbing him* You did too see!

English Dub
Asuna: What did you see!?
Negi: Not much. A.....bear...
Asuna: *grabbing him* THE LAST BEAR YOU'LL EVER SEE!!

It doesn't sound that big of a deal....but Luci Christan says it in such a way that makes it hilarious.

And then there was the classic Konoka's line: "You love Negi! Asuna and Negi sitting in a tree!"

And Evangeline....OMG EVA'S VOICE ACTRESS....I want to shake her hand and get her autograph!!

Sorry-got off topic there. But I LOVE that dub. XD; However if an anime's dub is the only thing that can save it....that's not a very good thing.
It doesn't hold a candle to the manga so yes, a remake is in order!

I second those. For Ghost Hunt: isn't the anime quite successful? Thus, I wonder why they didn't make another season? The manga do have enough chapters, right?

Fate /Stay Night remake by proper studio.

Rosario + Vampire manga is.......fine, I guess. Still, the anime makes it worse, just like A LOT of others out there.

Ancient series, never going to happen, but I'd like to see a remake of Cat's Eye that followed the manga storyline and treated the supporting cast with respect.
