I'm surprised Nabeshima won so easily. Of course, unlike Medaka who just plows into people and gets herself nearly killed, Nabeshima actually was smart enough to use tactics in a fight. Though, for someone who just had several ribs broken and her face smashed in with 30kg metal balls, Medaka seems just find. I guess she has Wolverine's healing factor as well. It kind of bothers me that other "abnormals" are even considered weak compared to Medaka. Taking 3 out in one second while braiding her hair... really boring and as you said, a complete waste. It's why I've always hated God Mode Sues. If Medaka is now in "serious" mode and is goig to destroy other abnormals without touching them, then what will the big boss require? A single finger? Doesn't make for an interesting story, IMO.

As for moving to Zen... here's to hoping it actually does. I just have this bad feeling that he's going to get his ass kicked and Medaka's going to have to come and save him or something. That might put the final nail in his coffin. Or, if the author is smart, spurs him to finally get away from Medaka and get stronger on his own so he can actually be useful to the story. I'd hope that it would then focus on him more. I do find it amusing how there's a sort of spotlight on him, like the mangaka is saying "Well, it's finally his time to shine". Let's just hope he doesn't crash and burn.

Looked at raws right now and yeah, I hope the focus goes to Zenkichi in the next chapter (or next few). Curious to know whats in that letter... hopefully something good and not anything that won't be followed up (hate to see an opportunity like this get wasted >.<). Also, the former judo captain beat Unzen's sister quite easily, I'm surprised. Shouldn't she have put up a harder fight? Well, whatever maybe trans will explain.

So, Medaka has a brother.... who apparently may be more powerful than she is if she's asking him for help. On top of that, she leveled 3 members of class 13 without even touching them, while braiding her hair at the same time, and she went EASY on them? As I said, this is going to be a REALLY short series because she just won't have any competition. She'll sneeze and the world will explode.

Again, I don't really see any point of Zen, a "normal" character who will have no chance to shine as long as that thing (aka Medaka) is walking around.

Sorry, but I don't find overpowered main heroes to be that entertaining, especially when it's pretty much been made clear there's no one who can compete with them. The only reason she even got hurt by Unzen or his Sis is because she didn't really want to fight. If she gets serious, there's no one who can stand up to her, so what's the point?

It's one of the things I hated about Id. None of the other characters had an relevance in the story because Id was just so far ahead of them in power that there was no reason for them to be there, but at least Id had a nice personality.

Eh, that only happened until people complained and Gohan was turned into a wimp so Goku could shine again. I hated that, too, as I actually liked the idea of Gohan surpassing his dad.

Of course, the Buu saga was just horrible anyway. I'm not a huge Dragon Ball fan in the first place. That arc just made me dislike it even more.
