There's an anon in 4chan who is making an RPG out of the Index series.
It has an original plot, and is built using RPG Maker.

But as a RPG? That's a hard case to sell... Toaru doesn't strike me as the type were you can get 4 people to work together like a normal PG game

Let's just wait for the outcome. Seems promising, considering that this is just a few weeks into the "project". I think the story has been laid out and the sprites are worked out too, thanks to the combined efforts of a handful.

That's one of the things I'm worried about, people tend to try and squeeze as many characters as possible and make one big mess of things...

But you're right of course, we shoul see how it goes first before judgment.

Gotta love the old school look...hence I'm looking forward to the release of "Classic Dungeon 2" for the PSP in Japan next month.

Also, I've unlocked a few more "Identify" options so I've updated my list. (new ones in RED, and they're still in order. I didnt just add the new ones on the bottom cuz I was lazy or anything)

-Have 75%+ health: +20% attack
-Health falls below 50%: +20%
-25% difference between you and your opponent's health: +15%
-30 seconds passed since the battle started: +15%
-Your "Fast Trick" hits: +15%
-Win the first round: +20%
-Your complete 3 partner attacks: +25%
-Hit the enemy with your Over Drive: +15%
-Your OD Level reaches Lv3: +20%
-Dont attack your opponent's partner: +25%
-Taunt 3 times: +25%
-Block 3 times: +20%
-Attack the opponent's partner: +15%
-Reach the "Dead or Raise" status: +25%
-Reach the "Dead or Raise" status with little time remaining on the clock: +40%
-Complete 3 aerial pursuit, "Unison Raid", attacks: +25%
-Successfully use a "Unison Raid": +25%
-Complete 3 successful back attacks: +20%

On a different note I'm starting to like playing as Sasha over Misaka imouto these days...

Just got Kirino complaining to me after not playing the game for a few days (someone in this thread already mentioned that this would happen)!

Luckily I was just trying to capture a video via composite AV cable! Unfortunately no sound was recorded, so I'm just posting the two screenshots with her here. Could someone please translate what she says?

Btw, if you really REALLY want to be scolded a lot by Index, you need to lose a battle against her (she must be the partner of your opponent)...

neverwinter nights one is okay but neverwinter nights 2 is full of bugs. I don't even want to remember it.

An old fashion rpg isn't bad for an rpg of toaruverse. as long as the spell and ability system is okay. I'm okay with it.

Yes and it was done by a real game company =_=

Now if it's a toaru rpg was being developed by the folks at Atlus or Sega, then maybe I'll be more optimistic about it.
