really really late but oh well loved the episode Patti has to be certifiable there is no way some institution isnt out looking for a missed patient. Great episode ended right when it was going to get good. I hope kid smacks Chrona around like a $2 whore on payday.

Not sure how the anime's going to play it, but it's always fun to get caught up in the moment.
Patty wanting to eat the good souls is one of the darkly humorous bits the show comes up with; in-canon you know it's just wrong...so I found it amusing that she'd say that aloud. She's the Weapon of the shinigami's son for goodness sake! You'd think she'd know better! |

Ooh, I don't know. Seeing BONES interpretation of it is entertaining, especially when it comes to the actions scenes which are so very bright and dynamic and translate (so far) very nicely to animation.
Personally, I occasionally find the manga's actions scenes a little hard to follow, but the anime makes them smooth and easy to watch. I also appreciate more how the styles of combat differ in the anime, from the excellently choreographed fight in episode 1, to the contrast between comedy and SE-style violence in the Chrona vs. Stein fight in episode 8. |
