Ending up leaving out Merry and Elsie though I expect both to make and Kanata and Sora I hope make it, but I am unsure if they'll make it. And decided againist putting any older characters in though, I was really tempted to have Vivio on my list since I watched StrikerS recently >.>.

Animesuki is quite the cool place, people actually really care what each others' nominations will are. That being said, i'm still thinking on who to nominate.

From data I've collected on this board and the ISML forums (31 nominators), here are the Top 37 nomination getters:

Ika Musume just barely manages to take first place with Kuroneko and Victorique not far behind. Kuroneko having extremely high nomination support is expected but I didn't realize Victorique was so popular.

Other characters from the current season also seem to be doing quite well. Eucliwood Hellscythe, Merry Nightmare and Kaname Modoka are also near the top in terms of nominations.

Despite a not too great performance in the main bracket last year, Rika fans are back in full force and manage to make Rika the top returner. The second highest returner is Kuronuma Sawako who, like last year, still recives a lot of love from the nominators. She could use a bit more love from the preliminary voters, though.

Consdering how well Kuroneko is doing, Kirino's mere 4 nominations doesn't look so great. She should still easily make the preliminaries. Haruna could probably use a lot more of the support Eucliwood is getting. So far I've only seen 1 person nominate Haruna.

To me, one character that seems to be getting unexpectly low amounts of support is Ookami Ryouko. I was expecting her to have a good chance to make the main tournament but it looks like she may have trouble getting enough nominations to reach the preliminaries. Like Haruna, so far I've only seen 1 person nominate Ryouko. Did I overestimate her or will Ryouko just be getting large amounts of support from places not represented well on this site or the ISML board?

Ikaros and Louise also seem to be getting low amounts of support (1 nomination each). I suppose Louise is fading from a lack of new anime but there was a new season of Sora no Otoshimono fairly recently.

Gonna concentrate on nominating the more recent girls, since they're the ones with the most chance (unlike those who've been proven to flop...). Can't help but throwing in a favorite or two along in there though, lol.

I'll likely be nominating older girls that missed last year (some by tiny bits even) or other that didn't get spoken for.

The Higurashi cast (Rena in particular), Rozen Maidens, Minami-ke...maybe even some Sailor Moon just to see how older characters do (as oppose to my 1970s era nominations that went noplace last few years). See if we can get in a character that is older than 2002 Saimoe's list.

I just decided to submit it now, since it will be become even harder to choose if I wait longer.

Many changes such as omission of Sawako. I think she will get enough votes in this phase without my help. But the exception was made for Kuroneko, since she is one of my favourite this year.

Now time to focus on mid-terms lol.

Surprised at the lack of nominations for Mami from Madoka Magika. She's at the height of popularity right now, so you'd think she'd get more votes.

I do realize it. Mami headed into a battle were she bit more than she could chew. It was a surprise since I thought she was a pretty level headed person.
