Hello, I am new to the iM@S franchise so my only knowledge comes from the anime. Having said that, my ranking so far:

1. Miki (the best at her job, has people skills and a killer body)
2. Makoto (so GAR that she turns girls into lesbians, yet she wants to be girly)
3. Hibiki (love her genkiness and DAT FANG)
4. Chihaya (always the butt of the joke, makes me want to protect her)
5. Azusa (sweet and awesome body, but I don't like dojikkos very much)
6. Takane (mysterious and intriguing, I want to know more about her)
7. Iori (tsundere with a heart of gold)
8. Ami (just a little ahead of her sister because she is in Ryuugu Komachi)
9. Mami (the twins are so much fun)
10. Haruka (so far she hasn't impressed me, still waiting for her episode)
11. Yayoi (far too delicate and boring, she shouldn't be in this business at all)
12. Yukiho (how can she be an idol with a fear of men? Annoying)

....And damn! Tom Girls apparently fit really well into long, casual dresses! And I really dig that style of heeled boots. Hibiki is just overwhelmingly dominating everyone here stylistically dog~

Yeah, that's true! She was originally an idol, if anyone knew, but seems she's a producer in the anime- they gave her that responsible business look.

25, apparently. I thought there'd just be an episode for each idol and then a concluding episode or something, but it seems they've got enough content for 25 episodes. Hey, I'm not complaining!

Ritsuko was an idol in the first game, but she still didn't let her hair down then. She had these funky braided twintails at the back.

I recall watching a series with the same name that involves little girls + mecha.

Is this series any good and what the enticement for you guys?

What you are talking about is probably IDOLM@STER Xenoglossia.

This series a lot more faithful to the original characters from the games and their designs as well. Xenoglossia was supposed to be a spin-off series. Surprisingly, they took the simple concept of idols trying to succeed in a competitive world and made a fun and actually quite dramatic plot. It's quite good fun, I would recommend it.

I suck at Japanese; at first I was like "it's 765 Pro, what the heck are they even saying!?"

After I figured it out, I always ran it through my head as "namuko," it never registered until now.

Midonin Last Engage Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Florida	Spoiler for iM@S 11 - Celeb 17: Miki's dream of aiming for Ryuuguu Komachi is getting a little far, but not so far I can say she's crazy. At what point does a goal turn into an obsession? She's not snapped yet, but the cliffhanger of this episode shows that it might have reached a tipping point. Thankfully, this is the kind of show where I feel it won't tip too far into the direction of tragedy. Melodrama, maybe, but not tragedy. Seeing everyone struggle for their first concert was inspiring. They may have been having difficulty, but they were having it together. This also marks the first time since... the first episode, really, that it felt like Haruka was the protagonist again. And we got to see her school uniform, that's a nice little bonus. Chihaya's rather spartan home life was revealed too. Another Asami Imai character estranged from her family who considers herself a genius in her field? At least this one is already part of a group. This is going to make for an interesting weekend.
