The probability of this depends on the wording of her wish; if it was along the lines of "I don't want to die," then, coupled with the idea of Kyuube being a literal genie, it's at least feasible.

-Mami has to regenerate when she gets killed. I dunno, I just have this picture of Madoka and Sayaka freaking out when Mami turns up looking like an attempt at human transmutation, and it amuses me, so there you go.

-Mami is related to Miyo Takano somehow. Because crack theories are my speciality.
I actually like this. this might actually be a nightmare fuel like in Mnemosyne.

Btw how does the wish granting work anyway? does it happen as soon as the contract is made, or else? In Mami's case, it seemed instantaneous though I suspect her case was different.

We don't know how that works yet. Hopefully episode four will fill us in...

Since Kyubee says he can turn Sayaka into a magical girl right away if she makes a wish in ep3, I think the wish ought to be realized instantly. Also, if the manga actually follows the concepts that will be used in the anime, then wishes can rewrite history to be realized as well.

Here are some additional spoilers for 4chan + Urobuchi interview key points from 2ch.

Edited: Picture is saying (very rough translation);
"She is a mahou shoujo as a pure psychic who does not have any sense of justice or humanity. So she is not hesitant to use her magic in order to full fill self-desires, Kyoko is a character who does not have sense of values of goods and evil, but 'nature response'." - Urobuchi

DARK.

If Madoka really transforms in final episode then I feel like these 12 episodes are actually the prologue of this series. We may get another season if this series is successful enough.

That's my speculation, though. It's true that Madoka won't transform any-time soon, but I'm sure it won't be 12th episode.

Anyway, time travelling theory now starts to make sense

The new character is voiced by Asumi Kana...I can already imagine the sequel to that Hidamari comic where we see Yuno and Miyaki watching Madoka again.

I think that it makes sense that Madoka is the last person to become a magical girl. The dream world in the first episode showed that everything was almost destroyed but Kyube still tried to convince her to become a magical girl. I think that that scene might be a spoiler like in the first episode of Higurashi SS1.

[off topic]
By the way, can you check this news I posted in Bakemonogatari forum? I'm still not sure if it is accurate or not. http://forums.animesuki.com/showthre...89#post3457989

Asumi Kana voicing a sociopathic character? That's quite unexpected. Can't wait until she appears. It's a shame Miya Mami died... it would have been fun to see those two interact.

No, Kyoko is her name. Sakura is her family name.

Madoka Magica seems to have a trend of characters with with first name sounding last names.

O dear god. So we have a moral egoist that clearly is driven by her own pleasure and might stop at nothing. This is definitely going the route of enlightenment-era drama.

The names of the witches are out by the way. There's Pyotr, Ulla and then this unknown new witch called Sulmika.

characters like Kyouko have the tendency to die a karmic death, especially after they insult someone's idealism (likely Sayaka's).

Ahh yes, on the #madoka thread, Ryu-ji-up mentioned that it is quite possible that Sulmika is but a vulgar misspelling for Zuleika. Zuleika to Goethe literature is significant largely because West-östlicher Diwan (West-Eastern Diwan), one of Goethe's final works, feature Zuleika as an ideal woman of sorts. I will need time to develop about Zuleika.

In addition, you can read the name of Kyoko as Apricot, which is Ume-sensei's circle name in comiket.

To put the Divan into context, one must keep in mind that it was written at the closing days of the Napoleonic wars, where Germany by congress of vienna has been formed into a loose confederation of sorts, which is not exactly what Goethe had hoped for, at least not with the level of bloodshed that had swept across Europe. The trends of this time, in the scourge of Napoleon, was not what Goethe had hoped for, despite the "acceptable" outcome of having this loose German confederation of independent states. Edward Dowden has mentioned that Goethe had an interest in poetry of the East, and the Divan has proved itself an ultimate manifestation of this. In some sense, it is part tribute to the poet Hafiz and in others it is him rebelling against the age of rationalism.

Citing Dowden, in 1814, Goethe met up with an old friend, a banker called Willemer, age then 55. His third wife, a woman called Mary Anna Jung (Marianne) was the model of Zuleika, a woman of good humor, culture and confidence. She would basically help with this poem by playing off against Goethe in the part of Zuleika and Hatem's love story. There is no romance involved here physically between the two in real life, but instead it is an intellectual play.
