@ Sempai - So how do I make him get a happy ending without making him seem like a Karma Houdini? I have a view on life that every person is precious, so you're taking how many years of experience from them with every slash, stab, and kill. Kinda why games like GTA are hard for me.

*shurg*

To be honest, I have a few patient die under my arms, including the one where the communal transport I ride is flipped and crashed, all because I'm unable to do emergency treatment procedure. I still felt the guilt until now, because admit it, USD 50 is pretty cheap for an emergency training which I took few month later...

Irish mindset probably the same, many people killed, he's hurt so many times, and lost a lot of precious people. The best thing is that Irish get over to pain and not angstign about it, but never regret or forget the whole thing, and use it as guide to reach a better future. Better if he's trying to help child with same experience as him.

@ Senpai - How do you give Josh and Chifuyu a happy ending? They have a lot of things under their belt.

@ Rain - Will the story stay the same?

Same principle about what I told above, they, especially Josh, has a lot of stuff to solve (namely, making his 10 year old bullshit a truth a.k.a. resurrecting the space exploration project using I.S. and stuff). True, back then Josh is a naive 14 year old that don't think THAT far, but then fridge Horror struck and... well, good bye to innocence.

Iori has long over it and practically become a guide for two of his friend, they get over the pain but never forget it.

Yes, precisely what I meant. Irish can take this route, scratch that, it's a mandatory route for each and every child soldier (or people with bad childhood), whether they succeed or not...well, up to God (in this case, author).

I already told you, but might as well list them

1. Get separated from her sister
2. Has his real mom killed gruesomely
3. His adoptive parents also get killed, and he failed his mission of destroying a transport (allowing PT to get a hands on the fake core system) and stranded alone in America, being amnesiac due to mental trauma and physical shock.
4. He get better as new person and met many people, including Natasha.
5. Just few second after he become a pilot, his westerner adoptive parents died of accident...because they want to congratulate him directly.
6. His mentor killed in a super prototype fighter testing.

And of course, It got worse when he has to regain his OLD memories...

Well, about hudnreds upon hundreds pages ago I also stated that... he want to be a specialized prototype test pilot, there's a nice chance of him killed.

(of course he never though of real suicide due to his optimistic nature, his subconscious mind on the other hand, stemmed from the old, locked memory and guilt in the past, felt different...).

He also do this to protect other people, which was his explanation to people showing concern to him. It's half truth, but he don't lie.

But no, he always survived, no matter the condition.

@ Senpai - Does age factor into a persons will to live?

Would an older person consider suicide less than a younger person? Many teens commit suicide, less so adults.

Yes, because mentality is manipulated by the body as well (the reason Adult Child is treated as disorder). I theory, adult can survive more trauma, physical or mental, compared to child due to this.

No, because as teen, he's amnesiac. Then again, he fought two dozen fighter drones with a dinky I.S. prototype... powered with incomplete fusion reactor because he think his safety not worth the bad future before said amnesia hits

They do things that otherwise is deemed dangerous by teens and adult alike, because they DOES NOT understand the danger until it happen.

For example, about two years ago, as news can state, many children dead or heavily injured due to them emulating Professional Wrestler.
