Once again, almost no one, and in case of Madoka, it's played for laughs and as of chapter 11, haven't been shown again.

Does Maya's rape fantasy count?

PAGE 1300 WOOT!

Could you be more specific? I'm afraid I'm clueless here.

Maya tend to fantasize having sex or being violated, though in this case, it's rather mild.

It will be flanderized later in ST though.

I meant why does she imagine that? Does she really want to get laid that much? I thought she'd imagine getting married first.

A mix of that as well as curiosity.

It's as if she never met a man and only learn through modern shoujo manga (which tend to be erotic and unrealistic).

It was proven, however, indeed that rape fantasy is disturbingly common amongst Japanese girls and young women, though the degree is liberally different. Ewww...

Wait, what? People dream of getting raped in real life?

Do women tend to hesitate getting into relationships with men who had a previous wife who died? Also, in your opinion, how hard would it be to find a second love if your first one died?

Fantasy =/= dream. Also values dissonance as we have discussed hundreds of pages ago. Why do you think those Josei (and sometimes, SHOUJO!) manga are shamelessly rapey? There has to be a main target demography, and said target are young women and teen girls.

At the mildest for example, why do you think there's "All Girls Want Bad Boys" trope? Because they like to be conquered, duh. Fantasy is fantasy however, the real problem is when fantasy bled to reality...

It's depending on the woman itself and depending on her viewpoint and the man itself. At the more positive, idealistic side, she will have an experienced, mature man.

Finding second love also relative to one's concept of loyalty, finding for a second love also doesn't mean you ditch the old one. Some can do it easily, some don't.

Still seems odd. Anyway, fiction should be separated from reality.

Does age or previous ties factor into this? What if he had/has a child?

Yes, of course. In the end, the judgment lies to personal choice.

Do you have any tips for writing mature/adult romance? I need it for later. Sorry, but my romance sucks.

As Wavehawk said, adult romance is all about compromise. Love, wealth, responsibility, career etc. all taken into the account so the choices can be made.

Compromise? You mean finding an understanding? But isn't that common in every romance?

Do you think the harem ever think about their actual future being with Ichika? Nope, they just want to be with Ichika, book ends. They'll only realize it when they grew into young women.

This is the mindset of teen when it comes to romance, some might call it irresponsible, but it's just their nature. The only way to make them "Act responsible"? Destroy their innocence, screw their childhood. And even that is not 100% guaranteed effective.

Romance between adult is not easy. For example, you marry a widow with a single child. Could you love the child like your own child? Could you support them as a whole? What if the child doesn't agree, or even despise you? etc.

Compromise is required, sacrifice has to be done.

At what age do these things come into play? When does one stop being a teen and become an adult?

Going home, be back in an hour.

The transition between a teenager and an adult began during college days, you not only learn advanced knowledge, but learn about how life works in principle.

Graduating from college, you seek for a job or raising a family, or both, this is where you become an adult, learning that life does not always work according to principle, but you already have enough knowledge how to cope with deviation.

EDIT: anyway, it's a common medical knowledge that best to have child after 19 years of age. Because mother's womb is not efficient until then
