Of course there's time when Ichika is explicitly genre savvy and use Reiryaku Byakuya when Rin use the sphere of doom attack (currently unnamed) as they're atvery close proximity at the time. Ichika survive unharmed, the enemies... not.

My sis is crying....

aye, what ails the lady?

Giant sphere o' doom?

what would make a good theme for Laura's IS second shift. All my attempts thus far feel half-assed. :|

Correction, my cousin and her is crying as we watch the vid together.... even my numbed, dense brain melt. (They're supposed to watch romantic Korean drama)

"How many sacrifice will you do for the one you love?", so romantic, yet at the same time very cynical.

@ Demi
Like this, but with plasma. Should I call it Dragon Vortex?

Well, second shift always been the extrapolation of initial unit's unique point and with additional accessories. You have to upgrade PIC somehow (as if that's possible), and add other stuff.

It was that bad? I thought it was pretty mild myself.

It's not the presentation but the philosophy apparently, and girls are more sensitive overall. It's worse than when our parents caught us watching Yosuga no Sora...

@zero: My favorite type of explosion. The silent scoop/reality eating void

the PIC can be upgraded. Just not to none godlike levels. I was focusing on the railguns for most of the time, then I tried focusing on the bracer blades since she seems to favor those two weapons. But something still feels off.

I played Mass effect, that game was boat loads of depressing. Anyway, I'm going to use it for FI Good thing Kazuma can regenerate limbs. Sad fact: If they try to pass the wall by going over it, it's most likely they'd die. He tried to do it in the flash game, but his entire arm got cut off.

Anyway, did it at least give you any ideas?

I always prefer Wave motion gun variant that strip the target piece by piece :3

@ Eras
Yes, mostly to the older characters in the prequel, but may apply to the younger cast in less crazier sense.

"To what extent you're willing to sacrifice for the greater good?", mean while, in the younger generation "To what extent you're willing to sacrifice for the precious one?"

The older cast realize their fatal mistake, most of them gravely trying to fix it, some of them died or lost themselves, and the survivor still burdened by their sin.

The younger cast' motive are more personal, saving and protecting the people they cared for.

I feel like I should say something compelling... but on to other topics.

If Lyon would be given sanctuary by ISA. On what capacity would it most likely be? Prisoner? Tenant? Guest? Student? guinea pig?

Tenant. Though they'd most likely take the Gospel and leave him. It's not like they need the Gospel functional, just the core.

The most dangerous part of the Gospel is arguably the AI which is tied to the frame. Indeed there's a chance that the core is either sealed or reused. (in canon America is paranoid and Gospel is sealed as a whole, since the core is no longer part of I.S. core network)

I guess they were planning to dismantle the IS anyway... I'm probably going to have to give a reason why he gets to keep it.

Good luck. They wouldn't let their own pilot keep it, why some random kid?

Um... to figure out how the heck it was fending off 20% of the world's total military IS power and at the same time evading capture from pretty much every superpower relevant in the IS business for almost a year.

they don't need him for that, just the core. Unless he's some kind of mutant, or he somehow causes IS to become 10x stronger, then they can just use the core.
