That Guy with too many Alias is one of the better writer I know on fanfiction.net

.... And he give long critical review sometimes(if I didn't forget).
I don't recall him trolling that much.... he just came off really harsh (probably because he has high standard?) most of the time.

You know what is real troll in FF.net?

"Nike, the best shoe somethingsomething."

And

"This fic suxs"

Seriously, if you want to troll, at least put in some effort in Trolling!

More detail into the use of IS frames powered by cosmic energy:

Since the IS are selective to females due to the cores, these IS frames powered by cosmic energy can be used by anybody and are not limited at all. However, because the IS weren't built for usage of cosmic energy. Most of the cosmic energy must be channeled directly through the pilot due to lack of the necessary energy channels. The pilot may suffer physiological and psychological side-effects.

Like most pseudo-IS, the lack of IS core also means a lack of barrier, inertial controller, matter quantizer as well as life support with the absolute defense. In exchange, specially designed capacitors and amplifiers meant to maximize use of cosmic energy is installed. Rather than protecting the pilot by having the machine become a superweapon. The machine is protected by turning the pilot superhuman. The IS frame itself acts more of a supportive role granting weaponry and additional equipment.

A similar ability to an IS material quantization is replicated by this system which takes advantage of cosmic energy's near infinite uses. By using simple logic of "concept" and "realization", cosmic energy can be used to materialize various equipment and even replicate the phenomenon of an IS shift. This system is much more reliant on the pilot's psyche than technical systems but overall is inferior to the IS quantization technology due to sheer unreliability.

I don't see anything comparable to gundam.

It's even more quirky compared to standard I.S., no offense.

Gave up on the gundam idea.

This current idea is to replace the celestials... who are more eldritch abominations than gamebreakers now that I think about it

Exactly...

I would've went to him for help, but after reading that so called 'review' of his, forget it.

Oh sure he may have talent, but that doesn't give him the right to look down on others. Those are one of the kinds of people I despise...

Disturbing text (Highlight to read, but at your own discretion):
If I can, I would just impale him in his 'nether regions' with my bare hands, dig into his innards, scramble them all up in his rib cage, and rip them all out through his nether regions...

And he even put his offer to help at the end of that 'review' of his. Truth be told, I'm not even sure if that really was an offer, or a total insult.

After reading a 'review' like that and seeing that 'offer' at the end of it, I ought to report his ass.

As for that so called 'offer to help', automatic declined.

Could we please forget that jackass and went for other topic?

Like barrier vs Armor discussion for example, pros and cons etc.

You think the shots from Laura's Railgun can create some sort of shockwave strong enough to send a person flying or knock them back after impacting its target?

^ No, unless they're explosive...which I don't think they are.

armor vs shielding: gundam logic - lasers cut through plating except formulated coatings. Shielding can block both but is less effective against physical weapons.

railgun: you seriously want to shoot a hole through someone eh?

The boom is great enough to rip someone to shred. But as far as I concerned, it will not thrown them several meters like explosive wave did. Cone principle, I'd say.

And as demi said, you'd get a hole rather than crater most of the time.

@ Demi
Ah well, thank you for the answer. Not using "Beam pwnd everything" rule here...

Unlimited Cosmos... that's what I'm thinking of naming the cosmic energy powered IS frames.

A thought popped into my head. Though the regular units have unreliable and very general capabilities. Specialized units are either specially made or undergo 1st shift which locks in a certain attribute.

I mentioned that the quantization technology of this suit is more reliant on the pilot's psyche and such a system was unreliable right? That's because the human mind is always fluctuating and recreating something is very difficult because a similarity of at least 95% of thought pattern must be achieved. A premade special unit would have a distinct logic built into it so that the abilities and weapons can be easily recreated again and again. The second way is for the machine to "etch" the logic via "shifting".

However these special units come at a cost. Due to the fixed logic, their armament and capability pool will be fixed until their next shift.

make sense?

No

Because that unit don't even have CPU, unless that cosmic energy also doubles as quantum computer plus working AI. Or the resulting humanoid-celestial-thing is I.S. core + human pilot - energy

I guess integrating a quantum computer would be a must...

But I don't think an AI would match what I'm looking for. Rather than having an AI intermediary, the pilot is directly interfacing with the quantum computer. However for the sake of less burdens on the pilot, the interaction patterns between the pilot's mind and the computer itself has been dumbed down... in retrospect I can also use that as an explanation of why it might not be as amazing and powerful than it's supposed to be. Because the "advanced" options can't be modified
