@ Zero - I should make Autumn older. She was there when Irish was 7 so she can't be 22 in the fic.

Irish isn't a soldier. Unlike Kyuukai, he has no training and everything he has is because of learning it by himself. This even reflects on his skills which are more pragmatic and stealth based compared to Kyuukai's power house and frontline tactics.

Add that to the fact that he's constantly screwed over and gets his ass kicked and you get someone you'd rather avoid than idolize.

Side note - Read the Mary sue list of traits. Here's what I got.

Has perma stubble - Uh, he doesn't even have hair on his torso, let alone his head.

Muscular - Nope. Even scrawnier than some girls.

Lean and streamlined - Played straight and deconstructed. If this was a romance story he'd be a sue, in a story like this it just ends up being a disadvantage.

Lot's of sex with lots of women - Completely averted. Has no concept of romance and the only one who doesn't have sex by the end.

@Eratas That's 'Western Marty Stu' in the list.... also, Child Soldier's definition is very general: a child fighting in a conflict for a faction or ideal, no more, no less. Irish IS a child soldier.

@ Zero - That makes sense. it depends if you mean "legal" child soldier or not. Kyuukai is a "legal" one since he doesn't receive abuse and fights for a good cause. Irish is "illegal" because he's with a group that forbids getting close to your comrades and blows up buildings instead of the usual good deeds.

Also, there's the fact that Kyuukai can function in society whereas Irish is obviously unhinged and never given proper treatment.

Side note - Western mary sue? Does that mean Irish is a stu?

I swear the amount of spamming in this forum made our memories screwed, SO FAR Irish isn't a Stu, Yoshi IS deliberately made as a Stu (though unconventional).

Beware of Stu moment, beware. Excellent OC CAN be fall to this if you're not careful. and once again, definition of Sue is SUBJECTIVE.

(Madoka is immune since she's a Canon character, even though she's getting Sue moments on certain chapters)

Some culture are more strict than other you know, back when we're in high school, most of them don't seem to mind, some other does mind...

Only averted in College that we studied human anatomy to the core...sex jokes never feel so dull like now, and both guys and girls have no problem with it

@ Zero - Ichika gets away with it because of his circumstances and the fact girls seem to have no concept of modesty.

Side note - That's because my class is literally a cluster sex joke bomb. You couldn't last 5 minutes without hearing a genitalia or dirty joke. I was one of the only one who doesn't indulge so I got a reputation of being asexual.

@ Treme - Nice! It has a lot of potential!
