On the counterpart, drama is more easy to describe than comedy, but it depends of the person... maybe yo could watch some comedy routines on tv and try to adapt it, or try some red vs blue style jokes. Even the more subtle joke can make some people laugh.

Even with our primary objective reached, we managed to stumble upon a “sidequest” as we managed to pull off our objectives. It seems that the technology we introduced into the local IS scene that came from our [Tower] Artifact back at home has now found a [Rightful User]. These so-called [Command Links] were our reverse-engineered understanding of the basic systems that we unearthed from the [Tower], allowing effects to allies that were unprecedented even to us- such as improved capabilities and attributes to the units the [Linker] were allied with. Also, we have discovered people capable of handling our native equipment without any problem whatsoever- though we still need to verify if they have a [core] in their bodies- it may take a while as [these two] are kinda on uneven terms at the moment- something needs to be done to make them settle.

They might be very important to us in the future, so we decided to test these people by sending out [TH55], [TH61] and [TH62] in an “aggressively friendly” manner- so far, it is going to plan. Just a bit more and we can drop the curtain and introduce ourselves. And speaking of dropping, we managed to do a live drop presentation of our [P.O.S. System] before our newest Investor and “Unwitting Accomplice” Gerard Archangel- by means of Dr P’jilner, our field agent and head R&D for this mission.

Name: Eddie "Sideswipe" Garcia
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Height: 5 Ft. 9 In.
Hair Color: Black
Hair Style: Faded, Slightly Flat Top
Eye Color: Brown
Physical Profile: Semi-Buffed
Nationality/Ethnicity: Spanish American

Background/Personality:
Eric's childhood friend and right hand man. He "enlisted" in the Thunder Crash mercenaries along with Eric and his older brother Derrick. Because of his ways of taking on his enemies by attacking them from where they least expected, he earned the nickname "Sideswipe". Not only he's a skilled fighter, he's also an excellent lookout. Spotting enimes before his squadmates, making him a valuable asset to Alpha Squad.

And just like Eric, Eddie has an out right loyalty to his "Brothers" and friends. It even instilled some fear into Thunder Crash's High Command that his loyaty to his "Brothers" and friends conflicts with his loyalty to Thunder Crash itself.

Hair Style: Faded, Little Bushy

Nationality/Ethnicity: German American

Background/Personality:
Brian is Alpha Squad's Field Engineer with a love for machines and computers. He doesn't really show it until he gets his hands dirty, which is by building/repairing them faster than all of Thunder Crash's engineers. That right there alone, is where he got the nickname "Ratchet". Brian can practically build/fix anything, just as long as he has the right parts. Because of his talents with machines and computers at a young age, top IS Engineers from all over the globe offered Brian positions that are related to the development of the IS shortly before Thunder Crash "disbanded". But due to his "personal reasons", he declined all of those position offers without hesitation.

Brian is a rather negative and sarcastic person. Not afraid to speak his mind freely, which sometimes gets him into trouble. But despite this, he shows a caring attitude towards his fellow squadmates, a custom he picked up from Eric and Eddie.

And here's my last OC in terms of "Mains".

Background/Personality:
Before his "enlistment" in the Thunder Crash mercenaries, Clayton was a great High School American Football player. Bringing his love for the game to every mission he went onto with Alpha Squad and treats it like a big game. He virtually never shows fear to anyone who's hostile to him, even when being outnumbered. Weather he's in combat or not, he has the energy to amp up those around him. While his enegry is real, he sometimes overexagerates it around his fellow mercenaries in order to cheer them up.

Though Clayton has a darker side, only known to Alpha Squad, Clayton has the tendency of "overdoing" things when it comes to taking down hostiles. That's where he earned the nickname "Scourge".

Sorry about these multiple post of my OCs, I thought I should give you guys updates on them once every now and then. Oh yeah, more about these guys will be explained as my fanfic goes along.

Armored Stratos refers to large Expander (forgot the actual canon term) units mounted on to MPIS used by the lunar Metroids, very often changing them from humanoid to a-humanoid forms. They are not unlike the Dendrobium Orchiris or the METEOR system from Gundamverse (in fact, given the rampant Gundam shoutouts, were inspired by them.) However, these units tend to be ridiculously expensive to deploy, have structural flaws that place incredible strain on integrity fields and demand capable pilots to operate.

No surprise then that they never caught on in the global market. Armored Stratos built by the Metroids are often assigned to "White Horses", a derogatory term for children of head politicians and military officers who enjoy hidden privileges due to their birth. However, the 3G AS have found their way into a select group of pilots who's bonding and sharing with IS cores resulted in a synergistic birth of abilities outside current explanation.

They are called ISpers, and perhaps with the Armored Stratos represent the next stage of human evolution which will lead Humanity into the infinite reach of space...

Alright, I'm having a bit of an issue here. It's how I should write my fanfic, should I write in in 1st person view or 3rd person?

If write it in 1st person view, I'm thinking of doing it through Eric's perspective and switching to Eddie, Brian and Clayton once every now and then.

I'd appreciate the help guys.

- What do you want to do? I mean, first person perspective works if you want to show:
- internal thoughts of a particular character
- A limited view of the story through a character's eyes (doesn't know what's really going on--can be horrifying or funny if you know the actual story going on)
- An unreliable narrator (biased - EG someone from Texas making fun of everyone not from Texas)
- More personal impact

Third-person:
- Allows you to tell more story views and the like, but is not as personal.
- Easier to portray different situations going on
- Characterization of different characters is either a strength or a weakness. You have to be able to understand and know your characters from a third-person view, and most authors end up makign one- or two-dimensional characters because they can't portray them well
- Problem: Some people may spend too much time describing the situation that they miss the story entirely (Tom Clancy is especially guilty of this in his novels)
- Problem: Unlike first-person, it's more obvious when the author is being biased--you can accept one person being biased, but not many different people (Again, Tom Clancy)


My own personal bias is that I don't like having to shift between viewpoints unless it's done smoothly. Oftentimes it won't be a smooth transition.
