@ 3-Senpai - Would Irish's personality discourage accusations of Shotacon? He acts even more mature than some of the adults in the Academy. He also tends to say and do things that no normal 14 year old does.

Side note - What do you think: Teacher Aide or Family butler?

I'm not dark. Just desensitized. There is no true way to predict how the IS-verse society because there is not enough data. It's as if the whole thing is bending just to match the story pace. Insane Troll Logic or proper, I'm considering throwing all sense out the window @_@

@ Demi - What would make Irish turn from a cheerful and innocent kid to a cynical and gynophobic anti-hero? Sexism gone awry.

Yay, in conjunction with 'All Girls Wants Bad Boys', some shotacon prefer 'rebellious' shota as their object of affection. And Irish' 'admirer' from that other side is classified as shotacon as well (they don't interested with his kiddy side, just his bad boy side).

Ummm... just make all of them minority... if I wasn't wrong, Irish will be portrayed as unlikeable right? =.=

No... well not from what I gather. rather he was tortured, his life was made no more significant than dirt by humans. However, he didn't hate humans. He clung to a more specific description of his enemy, women. That's all there is to it. Gynophobia that was produced by sheer coincidence... or rather cowardice... to realize oneself is one's own enemy and to hate your own kin as well as yourself.

@ 3-Senpai - Yes, he's portrayed as unlikeable. He barely interacts with anyone, he tends to snub people or ignore them when they talk to him, he never lets gender become an issue in who he insults/hits, and he shows disregard for the supposed gender superiority some in ISA have. This becomes even more of a problem for some because he has no IS unit or equipment like the other two so they assume he doesn't belong there and try to kick him out via IS intimidation. Response? Downed Uchigane unit and both him and the pilot injured on the floor.

@ Demi - The only one who tortured him were women and he was specifically treated like dirt because of his gender alone. That should make his gynophobia not just coincidence.

@ Saint X - Welcome back.

I forgot that his captors were sexist. Did they exquisitely point out that Irish was a man? Every single time?

@ Demi - He and the rest of the captives were males. Arachne specifically calls them inferior and refers to them as dogs. This made him think all females tend to have sides like this whether they show it or not. It doesn't mean he's Mysoginistic, though. He thinks that males would be just as bad as females if they had the IS control instead of the other way around.

@ 3-Senpai - Goodnight Say Hi to Senpai for me.

@ Demi - Nope, apparently all we know is that they're an organization who takes IS units. I made a change here that a lot of their members are sexist or feel superior........because they were abused/nearly killed/*insert horrible thing here* by men before. This creates a vicious cycle since their treatment eventually resulted in people like Irish. The other two protags feel bad for them when they're fighting them. Irish being Irish, he completely blows off any excuse they have and just says they should blame themselves for creating the person who would eventually kill them.

For some reason Irish makes me think of someone who's "fallen" and he's struggling to stay at the bottom of that pit. Everyone else is working hard to drag him out of it.

@ Demi - Sounds about right He's actually a bit suicidal, but that doesn't mean he's emo or anything. He's just not afraid of dying.

@ Senpai - So what kind of anti-hero would you describe him as on the sliding scale?

Side note - Are you okay? You didn't log on last night.
