Holy shit, 200$ Vita. Memory card price drop, too.

That price drop should definitely help. The memory card price drop is more important for me of course since I already have the Vita itself.

No there's no excuse for those of you saying the Vita and the Memory Cards are too expensive... you know, unless you never planned on buying one.

I'll hold judgement until we see the actual prices of the memory cards. 50 euros for 16gb is nothing short of hilarious right now.

I'm betting 30-35€ for the 16 gb card here in Europe then. Still insane.

Well at least it's better. Might be more willing to upgrade the memory card now.

MUAHAHAHAHA!!!

<---- Got a 3DS for Monster Hunter.

HA~~

<---- Brought PSvita while hoping for HD version of Monster Hunter 4 (3ds' graphic isn't exactly fantastic).

orz

On the upside, enjoy a good number of Monster Hunter's clones.

=
Joke aside:

I heard that Monster Hunter series has signed contract with Nintendo and so there probably wouldn't be any Monster Hunter series for Sony game console until the contract end?

You would think that to maximize profits Capcom would at least try releasing MH4 multiplatform (PS3, PS Vita, Wii U, 3ds and 360) make the PS3, PS Vita versions cross-play and cross-save, also the same could be done with the Wii U and 3ds version and the game would sell itself (imagine the sales numbers in japan alone), if I could come up with this idea there's no way they couldn't have thought about it, right?

Skip ahead to the 5 minute marker to see the Vita remote play in action.

Nintendo probably paid for exclusivity which is why Monster Hunter isn't coming to Playstation systems any time soon. This will likely not change unless the Wii U version doesn't sell and the PS4 takes off in Japan.

There's almost no connectivity between the Wii U and 3DS to date, so something like cross-saving is unlikely. If Capcom was planning this feature, they would have announced it by now. Besides, the 3DS version will sell so much better than the Wii U version that it'll be a moot point.

I know about the exclusivity deal, but I'm talking about before signing the contract, to me it seems they lost a good opportunity to sell a lot of copies throughout all current consoles.

Oh didn't know that they didn't have that kind of connectivity. (I don't own either of those and don't see myself buying the Wii U maybe the 3ds just for KH DDD and Pokemon Y version, the one I really want is the Vita)

I think Capcom just looked at the number of Vita sale and decide that it's not as good for profit as signing an exclusive deal with Nintendo.

Not many people are playing MH on console, really.
