Wait, that might actually be fun. After chasing the Hucks all over the sector, the Reapers invaded the final battle takes place on Earth, bringing the story into full circle. Bonus points if Precia is involved.
Obviously, Fortis is planning on betraying his entire team, by luring them to one of the abandoned castles of old Belka, and having a Bio Organic Weapon kill them all off for the performance data.

Following six or seven new titles of Nanoha later, Precia and Fortis inform all of the TSAB of their plans about TOTAL GLOBAL SATURATION. You can't fight fate!

Selling arms is only as legal as the place you are selling them. Mid Childa might have outlawed mass weapons, but that does not mean the multiverse at large has.

You keep bringing up weapons screening, and I will repeat: That was a military headquarters expecting a terrorist attack, not a company doing business. Telling your customers "we don't trust you with weapons even though we are trying to sell you weapons" is not good advertising.

As for the "but they're the Hucklebein!" argument, to those that know who they are at all (world's a big place) the Hucklebein are known as mercenaries. Criminals, yes, but not as people who go on mad stabbing rampages. Heck, to an arms dealer they're the most valued customer out there since they A: only visit you when they need weapons and B: Aren't as picky as governments tied down with laws.

WOW! a lot of stuff happened in four days xD!

About Ch. 17, i guess is another exposition chapter with yet another dose of "look at how cool the Hucks are" followed by more exposition and a heartwarming moments. Seeing Nove is refreshing and i bet that the image of ViVio and Einhart is probably from Nove's narration of how things are going for those two. About the stuff on the Vandin corporation i will wait until translation come out to see what happens. So, not much stuff this month apparently, let's wait until august.

By the way. NEXT 15 is also a re-edition, this time for Fortress Mode and Strike Cannon.

At least it wasn't that stripperific armor of Nanoha from the image posted past week.

EDIT: Oh yeah i was searching for the first Tome of FORCE without success, it should be nice to have the object of my deception physically in my hands xD

Vandin is an Administrated World.

Administrated World means they're part of the bureau, and bureau space means bureau laws. Enforcement may vary between places due to various circumstances, but the fact is what they are doing is against the law, meaning they must always be wary of bureau eyes.

This is the list of potential causes of infrastructure failure:
  • Terrorism - person or groups deliberately targeting critical infrastructure for political gain.
  • Sabotage - person or groups such as ex-employee, political groups against governments, environmental groups in defense of environment.
  • Information warfare - private person hacking for private gain or countries initiating attacks to glean information and also damage a country's infrastructure.
  • Natural disaster - hurricane or natural events which damage critical infrastructure such as oil pipelines, water and power grids.

As you can see, security is very important. You do not blindly trust your clients.

Personal example. Everyday, when I go to work, all are required to be scanned with a metal detector and open our bags to show to security before entering the office building - not at the level of airports, but it is present. That goes for full-time employees, business partners, contractors, part-timers, everyone.

And this is a perfectly legal (AFAIK ) company, not one doing shady business.

Do arms dealer invite their customers to their armories? No. They talk, discuss the amount of money and weapons, and barter in a neutral spot. Shit hits the fan, the rest of your eggs are safe in other baskets.

Also, the fact that they're mercenaries should really make them even more untrustworthy. They could easily be there on a job from another company that has more money than you do.

Reading the Wikia i found this:

Replica Divider and Reactor (レプリカのディバイダーとリアクター Repurika no Dibaidā to Riakutā)

I don't post the link because i don't know if that's allowed.

This means that there are more info or translations about Ch. 17 xD?

EDIT: "Fake Huckebein" ? It looks like the excuse to turn these ultra-violent guys into symphatetic beings of good has finally appeared xDU.

Maybe THEY were the fake Huckebein all along and you pacify the virus by petting kittens or something.

The guy who posted it lives in Japan, so the Wikia gets all the most recent updates through him at the moment. :3 I have to admit, this Replica story does explain a lot about the plot so far.

Nah, not likely. The Real Hucks are still the murderous little chicks and dudes they were, and we already knew that someone almost as murderous was operating on Vaizen back when Thoma nearly died and they weren't the Hucks, so the idea of "Fake Hucks" is not really a revelation.

What's surprising is the scope: apparently, there are independent Huck-like groups all over the multiverse and the Bureau only now butted their heads with them for the first time.

The universe is a big place, as long as these groups stayed out of Bureau space it's hardly a stretch of the imagination that they never crashed heads with the Bureau before, and the few times they did all crimes were pinned on the Hucks.

Kind of like how any terrorist attack immediately gets blamed on Al Queda. They're the most likely suspect, so logically they're the first to be held responsible.

At least the prescence of the Raptors is now justified, The TSAB probably can make enough experimental weapons or alternate tactics to deal with seven invincible rogues but they sure will be totally screwed against an army of Hucks xDU.

Like 3rd Season Saiyans against an army full of copies of "Cell".

Yeah, but you'd think through sheer logistics, even if the Bureau haven't met any of them before this, some smaller government or law enforcement group would have found some evidence of it before. I mean, as a general rule Eclipse users cause a lot of chaos and destruction, and not all of them would necessarily be as careful as the Hucks have.

Which goes back to "everybody blames Al Queda." You see a destroyed village, you find traces (if any at all) of Eclipse. What's the first thing the mind's going to think? Hucks.

I think that point was sufficiently demonstrated in chapter 2, when both Teana and Signum immediately thought of the Hucks when they saw the two separate destruction sites on Easter and Ruwella, without even entertaining a thought of a separate group.

Another necessary detail wanting: What are TSAB forensics like? Is there some kind of Harry Potter underlying essence to magic - everyone has their own signature pattern? Or what?

For all we know, the Fakebein could just be imitators. Kinda like Umbrella sending out multiple BOWs before Nemesis to get battle data.

But not quite as dumb as Umbrella, you know.

What about people who don't know about the Huckebein, though? Like you said, it's a big multiverse. Their MO couldn't be a substitute for every terrorist group on every planet.

In that case the attack will be blamed on whatever local group is the most infamous.
