Looks like a bit of "enemy of my enemy is my friend" is coming up in Force.
...
All I can say is that things are about to get very interesting.

My first thought when seeing Mariya was "whoa, rebellious phase Vivio?"

Did somebody knows if some mention is made about Dego and Marty's alignment o.o? Just by seeing the images it looks like Cypha was refering to them as members of the Grendel family.

It doesn't help that they didn't even give her a darker hair color...

If it wasn't for Vivio showing up in the recent chapters and showing that she's still Nanoha V2, you'd have a hard time convincing me that's not Vivio.

I have to admit, Force is starting to tread dangerously close to the mistake StrikerS made. I hope it actually takes the time to develop these new characters instead of constantly tossing new ones at us.

Hopefully the Grandel family will only be a sub-party of villains made with the intention of making the Huckbein look good or to serve as sacrifical lambs just to show how powerfull the Raptors are.

Yeah, that sounds like a good reason for their introduction.

Nothing wrong with adding more cannon fodder. I mean, it's not like those random TSAB mages that raided the Garden of Time really needed development or lines outside of "GAAAH!"

Wow, that totally is Teenage Vivio with just some minor changes here and there. You kidding me, Tsuzuki?

I think that's just Touma being Touma.

According to Gears of Destiny... Vivio is 13.... (79 Vivid and 82 in Force, right?)

Well the Thoma in GOD is from 82. It's unclear how far along in the manga timeline that is.

I'm not really sure about 'interesting'. So far the entire series is confusing as heck where some things just aren't explained enough. It works when you're writing since there are thought processes, but for a manga this just feels too... confusing.

And those random ' I'm so innocent' parts they keep trying to add in despite the emphasis that this is a darker story; like Lily naming the 6 individual cyborgs despite already being explained that they're actually parts of a single conscious entity. They're so frustrating some times. What she's gonna do when they're mass produced? I know this is a Nanoha fic; I know what they're trying to convey, but god dammit can they just stop screwing logic like this? Ugh!!!!

On that same note, a lot of the character designs they've been using just don't work with the kinds of villains this season is supposed to have. It's not so noticeable with the Huckebein, where really only Stella and Arnage have that problem, but we were told the Grendel Family was really scary and dangerous last chapter, and now they look like this. One of them's blowing bubblegum!

That's actually more of a culture barrier. To us, that's a perfectly normal teenager. In Japan, the whole "rough clothes, tattoos and blowing bubblegum" combo is rather delinquent and tough-looking.

No, I kinda get that, I just don't think it works at all for this story. I mean, this isn't like The Warriors, where all the gangs are meant to look a little silly.
